I can do a little more research later on it, but off the top of my head right now I can think of three things.

The first thing is "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news," which is in Isaiah. It refers to runners in the ancient armies who would run from the battle lines back to town to tell people of the need for reinforcements or that the battle had been won.

The second one I can think of is when Jesus sent out some of his disciples and told them to only take what they had with them, which would be pretty much all they had on them. I'll edit this later on with some research on that.

The third thing is when Paul writes about the full armor of God in Ephesians 6. Paul includes "feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace."

If anything, I would go with the Armor of God scenario, as if CM's telling us we need to be ready for anything.

EDIT: I just got an idea. In the last video of Phase One, CM said we had to choose a road. CM said that Phase Two begins with a hostile takeover, and after the second video, we would strike. When he responded to my question about twenty four hours not being a choice, he told me that WE will only have 24 hours to complete OUR task. I think Wabo came up with the idea that CM's taking over the FET website. Could it be the CM is recruiting us to take it over with him? Will we have to choose between helping CM to take over FET or staying true to Michael and defending the website?

Just got an email from CM. I asked him how 24 hours wasn't a choice.

Twenty four hours wasn't my choice and it wasn't yours. It was set long ago, and now we must follow it. That is all the time we will be given to accomplish our task.

I sent the following mail after reading that:
I wrote:

Hello CM,

you told one of my "teammates" that the time span of 24 hours is
neither your nor our choice.
Do you know who set it as the span we have to fulfill our assignments?
And if you do, can you please tell me who did it?

Yours sincerely,

Per Garmier

Here's his response:
CM wrote:
I know, and I already told you. But I won't tell you again. When phase two begins then it will all become clear, and everything will make sense in hindsight. But for now, I don't want to ruin the surprise Smile

CM

Currently I wonder why the CM is playing the "good cop" - while Michael Taylor starts to be less friendly ("bad cop")... Maybe to make us join CM's team?

I might have to reread the bible if he's referencing to genesis.

I think that is what the CM wants to foster. We are really awesome together aren't we:)

Sorry to negate that thought. Of all the damn time I have spent staying up to date on this, I don't check for a couple of days and voila', I am a doof.

I am glad that even without my expertise (do you smell the sarcasm) all of you were able to figure everything out. Not that it matters much, here are the two emails that I got from the CM. The only things of even minor importance are the responses to my questions.

I think that I would be disappointed with myself not to see this out to the end. I will complete your task even though I feel that the object of this "game" has changed. I do not believe that Eric is still alive. If that is the case, then other than getting out your message, what is your purpose? Are you in search of a new pet?
Anyway, I don't know why I ask you questions. Are you going to give me answers? Highly doubtful. I do, however, need to say that even though I may not agree with what you have done, I don't know the whole story. There are a few certain situations that may lead me to drastic outcomes. So for me to judge you without first reviewing all the evidence would be a shame.
Pull your strings. I am ready to play.

the CM wote:
Quote:

Jason,

Your email has been received. You will now play an active part in the opening of phase two. You will receive further instructions at this email address when the time is ready. Each person has a critical role in ensuring that Phase two is successful. If you do not play your part, it may not succeed, and valuable information will be lost forever.

I have faith in you.

Codemaster

p.s. - your patience is appreciated as the clock is wound...

p.p.s. - sharing information is often useful...and to answer your questions;

1.) I will give you answers, in time
2.) The object has never changed
3.) The purpose is for you to figure out my purpose, that's where the fun lies Wink

The u in wound was in bold and Phase was capitalized the second mention. I have finally caught back up and have no intentions to be out of town again anytime soon. Sorry if I annoyed anyone.

Jason

I agree with the chose a path & takeover scenario above. I think the Paul reference could fit in too.

Here are the video clips that came to mind.
Sorry I cant screen cap this stuff I dont know how.

In the videos there have been 4 sets of shoes:

"the answer" at 1:53 CM's leather sandals on sand
"ghosts caught on tape" at 2:17 Eric puts on jogging shoes
"youtubes sins confessed" at 1:07 Cm's going to church shoes - walking to Church
"youtubes sins confessed" at 1:12 Cm's burying the dead boots - walking to the graveyard

I thought it probably meant that after we're done with whatever we have to do in connection to the video, we're going to end up doing some real-world location stuff, searching for clues in person or meetings or dead drops. Something like that.

choosing sides

I've been thinking about the new tone that the CM is taking and I have to agree that the time to choose sides is coming. The one thing that makes this probable is the fact that, like the CM said, "the purpose is to figure out my purpose". We do not know what has driven him to this outcome. We do know, from things that Michael has said, that there is more information but he is unwilling to disclose it, fearing the threat looming over his son. I think that the CM has the Ace up his sleeve. I believe that when we do know what the circumstances are, we will be faced with a delimma. No matter who we are, we have all had some degree of evil thoughts that seem justified. For instance, when we hear something so horrible on the news that we could envision the death of the person responsible. These feelings are just that...feelings. We choose not to listen or to act out, but sometimes...maybe we linger on the idea a little longer than would normally be comfortable. Sometimes an eye for an eye is really justifiable. What if this is the CM's "eye for an eye"? What if when the truth is out, we can maybe understand the seemingly incomprehensible. Maybe we don't agree, but we might understand. Therein lies our choice. Which path do we choose? I personally can think of a few extreme situations that would push me over the edge. I have a feeling that everyone knows what would trigger them, causing their emotions to react without first rationalizing the consequences.

Just a little ramble to go along with my beer. To quote the Templar Knight in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade...."Choose Wisely".

Jason
