and not to change the subject. But, has there been any other game like this one (internet, clues, etc.)?

I may live under a rock (actually behind a desk too long) but I don't remember anything like this!

It's quite fun actually and addicting!

Parrotsale--Unfiction is largely dedicated to following games like this. The term for it is "alternate reality game". Some of them have involved rewards or prizes upon completion, but many of them are there for the experience and community that forms. The Wikipedia entry explains a lot about the history, as well as describing games that attracted media attention.

Quoting myself, because I finally found the link on the original trailhead that refers back to the fingerprints/murder weapon email. It's a Day 8 email forwarded from Max, sent to him by the detective. It's on this page:

ok here's a thought if christina and max were watching video's all night and found a few clips of people going in and out of andrews office, whats to say they didnt doctor them up themselves and make it look like it was grant? also i read some people think grant was there at 4 in the morning but if you look at the lighting from when sonia enters and when grant enters it looks more like afternoon than morning. there is no sunlight at 4 in the morning just a thought.

there are alot of things in this game that don't make sense. like that he was kidnapped on the 19th yet his last entry on his website was on the 20th. could it be that Andrew, Christina and Max are all in it together. and if so why?

this theory has been brought up be4, but it didn't make sense be4. now it makes a little sense. it could explain some time discrepencies (like the website entry).

hmmmmmm any thought about it now that we have new info?

Water

Is it just me or are there a lot of references to water? Free Water, hot water boilers, sea legs, and a bunch more. Also, a lot of references to animals. And Christine drinks a lot of coffee and Sonia is always going to the coffee house.

Daylight through window

That makes perfect sense but.... I don't think that the window was really what we were suppose to be looking at. I could be wrong. You could have hit the nail right on the head! But with all of the mistakes that the PM's have made, I just doubt that is what we are suppose to be focusing on. After all, this is just a game, not real life. Just something to consider. Wink

24/7 video

Of course the video runs 24/7 because Christina said her and Max stayed up all night viewing them. But she obviously didn't see someone go in and then not come out. Or she would have sent us a video with someone coming in but not showing going out (in which case we could say that the "jump" in the camera was the person leaving)lol. She had us watch the video with Grant because she thought it was weird that he came in to write a note and left it on Andrew's keyboard. They want to play dumb about the missing 34 seconds because we were suppose to fingure that out and speculate on who and/or what happened in those 34 seconds.

Right. I'm was just pointing out that the security videos are not "motion-triggered" but that they run 24/7. I know they left the cut-out part there for us to find.

Doubtful that the link alone will work, but here it is:
http://www.akarmcorp.com/security2_backdoor/pnl.html
You can use the same code that Sonia sends in her email to you (58731801K5R) to access the fingerprints. Just go to the Security Admin site and click on Security Admin Menu, enter the code from Sonia, then click on Personnel ID records.

The fingerprints should pop up.

why wouldn't he just say that the drug was defective instead of going through all that trouble just to do something he could have simply said to the media.

Where's Andrew

Maybe he is near water somewhere, like in a boat or submarine. And maybe that's why when Andrew was holding the paper and leaned forward and said "it's all elemental" that the cameraman almost dropped the camera. Maybe Andrew swayed the boat. I really don't think it looks like the inside of any boat or sub but I don't know. I've never been in one.

that's a good idea. But at the end, the kidnappers are dead and they have 22 hrs. to find Andrew. So who killed them ? The police? And before they did they found out Andrew was at a different locaation and that they gave him an OD of freevira or something?

Or else they locked him inside a place where the oxygen would run out in 22 hours?

If you follow what I wrote, it should pop up. The websites were all locked down yesterday morning and addresses, passwords, codes, etc. all changed. It could be because you added the old website address to your favorites menu, which is no longer the correct address.
