Could it be Max?

Just thinking.....
The first day, Max says that he is an internet genius. Then he starts to record the press conference on his own camera (or sonia's?). Then he is in charge of the video that is missing minutes, and suddenly, we cannot get those lost minutes. He could have changed the finger prints and then destroyed the video. Perhaps he wanted his father kidnapped only and got those two neighbors of Sonia's to help. And then they turned greedy, and although it is grant on the video paying the ransom, it is Max recording the video to blackmail Grant? He could not take the money because how would he explain having so much money all of a sudden? He is framing Grant because he does not like him, escpecially the way that he is acting towards his mother.

Any thoughts, or am I reading into this too much?
