Joy
Sounds

I thought that weird sound on the video was strange also, including the static! However, at the end you can tell the camera was dropped. The detective said the camera was damage but the tape was still intacted. Looks like they played it back for us through the damaged camera huh? lol But I am sure that they will say the tape was damaged too but you could still an "image" and hear what they were saying on it good enough to get clues. This site is driving me crazy. I don't know if it's because this site is so busy or what but it's taking forever to load and half of the time if not most of the time, it goes to "cannot display". So I have to keep clicking on "back" until it displays the last page I was on and try to go to the next page again. Crying or Very sad

video

In the video with the shootings, the kidnappers ask for 'the rest of the money". Also, it sounds like the other guy says "no one will ever find the connection between me and the locations (plural).

being paid for what

granted they threatened to spill the beans on who we think is grant... so if it is what was he paying them for the ransom or the initial fee for the hit on Andrew.... cause in the press conference he said to christina he gathered the funding if it came down to the wire the kidnappers could have him at this cherry/curry st w/e it is just to frame him...

I listened to the 3rd video again and I think it might have been updated. It sounds a lot more like Cherry Street now. Or is it just my imagination?

I wouldn't read too much in the "hero" file name for the fingerprint. "Hero" is a term used in film and TV production basically meaning the "featured" prop for filming.

I think a lot of you are way over thinking this. This seemed to be a very simple game made by very simple minds. All the previous puzzles' answers were all uncomplicated with not too much thought or imagination put into them. I don't think they suddenly got creative and are trying to fake us out.

I think this was just an all an example of a poorly written, produced, made, managed, and executed game from the beginning. And I'm not going to be surprised if the 41-cent postage to send back their "winner documents" is going to cost us more than the final awarded prize.

Personally, I think Andrew staged the whole thing so he can finally get away from his Applebee's-obsessed wife and half-retarded kid (who thinks he should be getting extra credit at school for the work he's putting into trying to save his father's life) and has run off with Sonia, the sluty scientist.

sped up audio

Does sound more like "cherry" there. However I found something weird in your sped up audio. In the sped up version I heard the other kidnapper say, "Now that's what I'm talkin about" after the kidnapper said, "Andrew's at ***** Street." I could have swore on the video on the website one kidnapper say's, "Now that's what I'm talkin about." and then the other says where Andrew is.

LMAO

Now that would have been a great ending!

Longtime... I think that link that you posted was for the backdoor of video feed with no one around. I believe the person is asking for that missing 34 second video feed we were told we were going to get. They listed that one security feed on the www.savemnyhusband.com and it doesn't work. I would say most of the ppl here think it's because "someone" (possibly Grant) cut it out, therefore it is impossible to retrieve.

IMHO, this game has been absolutely nothing but a marketing ploy. This is not the first time I've seen and/or followed this type of B.S. game. The "substitute" prize will no doubt be a coupon for a free meal at Applebees (with the purchase of another meal of greater or equal value). And, it probably won't make any difference what you enter as your answers, everyone who registered will get a "prize" email.

Thank you for all your insiteful and well-written posts. Rock On

To The Unforum Admins and Mods:
Thank you for taking the time to deal with this whole ordeal. It is definitely not the type of 'Game' (and I use the term loosely) for which your forum was designed. However, perhaps you will acquire a few more really serious ARG Gameheads. Worshippy

OK, Gang ... My Horoscope for today said, "You need extra care making ready for the day. You're prone to be unreliable and unprepared." So, I'll get off my soap-box and hope to see some of you tomorrow!

Thanx for the fun! Pony?!

Audio--Cherry Street

The address, according to the rules, must be an ADDRESS, folks, not just a street name. Any speculation on "Curry Street" will get you nowhere, because no such address exists in the SMH world.

My guess is, the tape has been dubbed. When it was first filmed, the kidnappers named another location...Then the gamers here found the google files, and so things had to be changed. They were far too deep into the story line to change much, but one thing they COULD change was the address.

Think about what it sounds like when you watch a movie on network television, where all the 'bad' words have been dubbed over. The actors don't re-act the entire scene, they go back, weeks after filming is wrapped, into a studio, and record over their own voices. It always sounds just a bit different.

This actor was obviously dubbing his own voice, and tried too hard to match his 'tough kidnapper/thug voice.' He used a lower tone, which changed the "aire" sound in cherry to a "uh" sound. If you listen closely, you can hear where the original audio cuts out, the dubbed part is inserted, and the original audio starts back again. The volume even changes.

Just remember, these programmers worked off of a KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) formula and so should we.

Check the Zendorel site

I don't know if my post got lost or what, but check http://www.zendorel.com/holdings.php It has to be an address we can find on an ingame site. This is the only adress that is even remotely close.

Does anyone know what that thing is on the left hand side and if it is relative to the game?

I am still not convinced it is Grant responsible. See photo

 Are You For Real?
For those of you who still can't work out the bleeding obvious...

For the love of Bourbon Street Steak, people, I confess. I did it. I don't know how some of you haven't figured it out yet when we've all but slapped you upside the head with the answers to these clues, there it is. Me. I'm behind the whole thing.
And not in a subtle way, either.
I was going to try to hide out, or conjure up an alibi, or something, but even prison is better than having to read through some of the speculation going on here. If you don't get it by now, you'll never get it. You'd have to be thicker than a juicy, grilled-to-perfection House Sirloin (served with garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and garlic toast) not to know that I'm the culprit, at this point.
As for the location of Andy Goodis... well, to go on watching people blather on about Indian food, presidential runner-up candidates, and other nonsense is all too much to bear. Sometimes a cherry is a cherry. In fact, that's most of the time.

If anyone wants to arrest me, I'll be at Chili's, having a last meal. I want my baby back ribs.

Peace out,
GT

Real answers

I have a question: for anyone who saw the finale before the "edit," what was the original location? Just curious since the dubbing was so horrible, i was wondering if the original was much clearer.
