Sonia?

ever since i put in my answer, i kept hitting myself over the head because of Sonia's blog. it was there but we never really used it. it didn't hold any information whatsoever that led to the discover of andrew or who the mastermind was. but now that i have watched the vid for day 9, it makes a little more sense. the blog will prolly be the basis for this new "save-my-secretary-who-is-missing-and-might-have-also-been-involved-in-my-former-kidnapping-and-who-I-am-pretty-sure-I-am-sleeping-with.com" game.

the sad part is that i will prolly play this one too!

Guys, guys, guys!

The answer is simple and obvious. Why? Deep Focus isn't a game design company. They effed with the video so that there's a "snap" noise as the kidnapper is saying Cherry. Deep Focus has been so thoroughly incompetent that it's probably an audio error they never corrected. (And you would think from their mile-long list of awards for video projects they could at least get this part right.) Or maybe screwing with the audio it was a cheap way to make it "challenging" because they don't have any real puzzle-creating skills.

So...forget Sonia's blog or searching anything else. DF is so lame, they uploaded the game asset with the answers on the website BEFORE the game was over. (The URL has been provided in previous posts.) These emails from Christina and Max are at best yet another foul up on the part of DF and at worst them just trying to get you to second-guess yourself when the answer was so simple.

As for there being another game, this time with Sonia missing, they can forget it. Seriously, who's going to play that when they know the company can't deliver an actual game but rather something that's only going to suck hours of your life with no satisfying conclusion? If it's socialization you're after (and that's one of the big components of gaming that people don't discuss enough at design conferences), there are much better games y'all could be playing, I'm sure.

I wish I had been able to post before now. It would have been a better experience for me, I think.
