[Me.dium] PM stalking!

Hey, anyone out there using me.dium? If so, feel free to add me (vpisteve) as a friend, and then you can follow where I surf around the internet. Smile

I'm really interested in how this works, but alas, have no friends (as many here will attest).

/me quickly looks behind her.

/me runs to the front door and peeks out the viewhole.

/me turns off all the lights.

looks kind of like an IM system with an added plugin that tracks your active web browsing, sharing it with others who are connected... tis nifty

are you requesting volunteers to join so you can test this out, purely from a professional perspective? I might be willing, but you won't enjoy half of what I surf to from work -- and I might not be willing to let you see what I surf to from home...

Nothing is purely from a professional standpoint from me, since that's a pretty fuzzy line, ya know? Razz

It's a pretty cool little app, and from a security standpoint, you can turn it off/on with the push of a pretty obvious button, and it automagically turns off whenever you enter a secure site like a bank.

I hadn't considered that aspect, i was more thinking about whether or not I need to see when my friends are surfing for porn , um, ponies. What do you see when I'm on my company's internal network?

I imagine that as their user base grows, the "related websites" aspect will gain some intelligence. Right now, I'm not sure why it is displaying the neighboring sites that it does. Overall, however, it's just a distraction at work, but I guess it could appeal to people who are just riding the stream of serendipity, looking for new and interesting sites in their spare time.

And the rest of you need to add me! It's lonely out there! (steve, i tried to chat with you but got no reply. I'll try tomorrow -- strictly for professional curiosity, of course.
