Fine fine, I'm awake... What's all this ruckus about?

Glad I still keep track of some of you BeeKeepers. Now, onto the mystery solving!

Hmm. Whats all this now?

Maybe this time around I'll actually be able to participate, instead of lurking and watching. I think I was the only one in the Philly area playing ILB and I could never reach the one axon that was near. And it was one of the few that was never unlocked i think. (odd duck?) Anyway. if this turns out to be something worth playing, count me in.

Stewy signing in...

and out.

What's up dude?

I think the "tick tock" was just a way for it to build some suspense while we stay up and wait -- perhaps he's trying to remind us it's so late. :p

Tick Tock is also a novel by dean koontz

from wikipedia:
Ticktock, a novel by best-selling author Dean Koontz, has as its protagonist a Vietnamese-American named Tommy Phan who one day finds a mysterious doll on his doorstep. He soon discovers that the doll contains an evil creature, which is determined to kill him.

maybe AR is he doll that is gonna kill us.. ok.. so its far fetched.

edit - seriously, i do agree that Tick Tock is just a reminder of counting down to 1 -4 am depending on where you live.

still following along here... waiting... tick tock.

does anyone think the ARG from Wired magazine [issue #15.06 "Rocket Boom"] has to do anything with this? it's been talked about here on these forums here...

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19208

...i bring this up because that ARG goes to a companies's website called "Hive Mind Corp." which uses a honeycomb graphic, plus, there was another story in the same issue of Wired talking about Bees!... ilovebees?

just covering all the bases.

*yawns and stretches all dreary eyed*

Ah, what's this? Another Halo ARG you say? Are those Beekeepers I hear? How long have I been out?

Hmm... Time to wet the system.

It's good to see all of you Beekeepers again! Ready for another go? Smile

I wonder what dear old Melissa would think of our new AI pal.

Tick Tock was also added at the end of the quote.

Anyone else getting the feeling like we are running out of time?

I'm pretty sure that's what he's trying to do with his "hum" (as someone referred to it earlier). Trying to create a sense of suspense/urgency.

So, yeah... despite feeling like it's already uncool to say so (I always miss the trends!), here's another Beekeeper back for round 2! Ready to answer phones in hotel lobbies for fun and profit!

(hello again Raiden ^_^)

anyways, i keep getting the feeling that the amount of flooding the B.net forum is recieving is working against us. it keeps making hints that the amount of gibberish it is observing is not so good. i do love the ominous feeling it keeps giving off. the "no one will be ready", and in response to someone saying "maybe we should provoke it"(or whatever) it saying "not advisable." all i know right now is that the people over on the forums dont grasp the fact that we have no knowledge of the rings, or reach, or any of that at this point in time, that happens in 2552(or whenever). i mean, we need to get back to the basics and ask it simple questions like "who sent you", "what are you waiting for exactly", "who do you take orders from", etc. not all of this "is the covenant a threat" bs. all we know is that around 500 years from now the covenant will attempt to take control of the ark which was placed here on, earth by the forerunners, and try to manually activate the array to facilitate its "holy function" and all that junk. but at the same time, when we converse with this AI, we arent supposed to know that yet, so we need to figure out what its purpose is for contacting the "guardians of the ark (us)" here on earth.

Hi everyone. I've been lurking all day, but decided to jump in now. Never been a part of one of these before, but am very, very intrigued.

I could be totally stretching here, but based on all the talk about Bungie and the number 7...
The 'most recent' post (not the response, but the talk about the dissemination of information) was posted at 9:45. When divided by 7 the number is 135. In one of the much earlier posts AR said "in approximately 38 hours" While most people took that to mean exactly 1:00 am PST, perhaps this is a new clue and the information/update/whatever will come out at 1:35 am.

I also notice that the Bungie forums are just overloaded with responses, especially stupid ones, any time he posts. In the same post referenced above AR states:

"I cannot control the dissemination of information. It is chaotic. I am not perfectly integrated here. When the tipping point occurs, I will do my best to facilitate."

I wonder if this is more in reference to the total chaos on the boards and does not contain some deeper meaning.

In any event, I'm glad to have found someplace to actually examine and work through this puzzle with individuals who, to be blunt, aren't morons.
