Prompted by a bunch of clues here, I went over the "starry night" and "emotion" wallpapers from Halo3.com. I still can't find anything in Cortana's iris in "Emotion", but there's an oddly-strong and irregular crop mark in "starry night", at the base of the translucent Chief's neck. It's about the same location on the Ark Storm's cloud as Adjutant Reflex's icon is taken from.

I have no idea on steg detection, but I'd appreciate it if someone could check that image out for anything hidden.

-- Steve wishes he could do it himself and not add to the workload.

Heres another stretch:

Iris is the golden winged one, right? right.

Iris' symbol is also the rainbow and she is known as a rainbow.

God's COVENANT with his people came in the form of a rainbow.

Coincedence? probably, but who knows

The silhouettes looks separate to me, maybe they represent the monitors of 5 halos? Although that doesn't make a ton of sense since there are 7 total... maybe he needs our help in finding 5 other AI constructs to help him with the task of aiding the reclaimer in shutting down the ark? Or something of that nature :S

EDIT: I see no glyphs behind the images, yes there is some sort of nice design behind it but it looks nothing like the forerunner glyphs.

I agree. I think that the silhouette is probably AR. Question is, is he a monitor or a Sentinel like on Onyx? Maybe some type of hybrid?

Edit: Cause I can't selpl good.

Good catch. But why 5 angles of perspective? #2 seems redundant as I cannot imagine a possible angle for it.

Since both GS and PT were both circular and virtually identical in appearance except color, I'm leaning more towards the Sentinel side. It also follows that he is threatening people, and since Sentinels have weaponry, that makes sense. Correct me if I'm wrong but the Monitors never made threatening remarks, and demonstrated no weaponry at all.

If I'm not mistaken, the lines in the picture are similar to designs on most Forerunner structures, not glyphs. I've been trying to see if I can identify the structure behind the silhouettes in the server pictures. It's not the same wall from Desolation that's seen in the email.

on the halo servers pictures, does anyone think the silhouettes for the servers are the same item, just rotated? servers 1 2 and 3 all have the ridges located on the bottom and top, and if the 3d object is being represented in 2d as in an engineering drawing, then they could be the same just rotated one way or the other. any one else see this?

edit, servers 2 and 3 both have a diagonal running aspect on the right of them

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In Ghosts of Onyx, the sentinel attempts contact with the Spartan III before classfying him as an "aboriginal subspecies" and continuing to exterminate him. The Sentinels may have a primary objective of offensive protection, but are required to confirm the non-presence of Reclaimers when doing so. Apparently.

Whoopsie. Apologies.

Just had a quick glance over it with 2 stego's both reported a negative Sad

as to the structure.jpg from earlier I've increased my crack dictionary from 58,000 to 1,600,000 and my PC is chomping though it atm, I'm still convinced it was a false negative but I won't be the one who gives up trying until I've put the whole oxford dictionary and all posible connitations though it Very Happy

My educated guess is that it is just that, a crop mark from placing the image of the translucent chief on the collage itself. It wasn't blended sufficiently. The crop follows to the left and extends down a bit, possibly a lazy designer doing a quick crop of the chief along the edge of cloud, rather than blending the edge to match the cloud. My guess is it's probably nothing.

Can you please put spoiler tags on that for people that have not read the books? Thanks.

New
Glyph Found.

Hello, I'm new here, but I have been following the Halo 3 ARG for a while.

Any way I Found the Forunner Glyph from the Xbox E-mail.

It's on the butt of this gun in a new CGI pic done by HBO user BlendedEcks.
