 		I can't figure out the pieces with the numbers Evil or Very Mad

I can't get them all on the left side

 		They play like a game of dominos... Each tile has to 'fit' all adjacent tiles.

 		 I get stuck on objects
I can't seem to zoom out on objects I click on and it zooms them in. Or is this the way it's supposed to be? I have been just starting the game all over again every time.

I have Mozilla and I recently updated Shockwave. Is it a bug?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the game piece from the bookshelf
the game piece from under the sofa cushion.
the game piece from the trash bag
the game piece from under the tablecloth
the game piece from collapsing the table
the game piece from the cracked wall behind the table
the game piece from the painting
and the game piece from the safe.

Where's the 9th?


EDIT: Nevermind, I got it. Hmm, that was pretty quick. Sweet finish BTW.

Incidentally, was this done by the same person/people who did "The Doors?" I recognize that couch and the look of the bookcase from that game.

 		How you use things? and how do you remove them from your inventory?? My inventory is full and I can't add anything else to it. And I can't seem to figure out how to do anything else like drink the beer, etc. I also can't drop things. What's wrong?

 		You can use things by clicking on them (in your inventory bar) once, and then move the object over something you want to use it on.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
For example: Pick up the scisors from the table, click on it in your inventory, and then move it over the cord keeping the garbage sack closed...


The only way to drop things from your inventory is by putting it back exactly where you found it. I guess the library has some rule against littering. Wink

 		Alrighty...I've got 8, but here's what I can't figure out...

I haven't figured out the safe combo, what the magnifying glass or the desk lamp is for, and I don't have the $2, either. Also, what's the big bare spot on the wall in the garbage bag room?

In other words, if any of these lead to the 9th clue, I could use the help! Embarassed

If I remember correctly, there is a book on the far left right side, I think second down from the top...or at least in that neighborhood. When you find it, one of the number clues will fall under one of the couch cushions.

The magnifying glass is more towards the left side, slightly towards the top half of the shelf.

There's one book that moves just for the hell of it, so don't worry if nothing happens.

Finally solved it...lucky thing, my mouse finger is sore!

The combination is printed on the end of the barrel of the pistol. If you bring it up by double clicking it, you can then see it by using the magnifying glass. Or, just bring up the pistol, right click, and zoom in until you see it.
