16.
223.

65

Is what we have.. now to make sense of it?
I'm not entirely sure here, just a stab in the dark, but the 16/223 does have odd decimal looking things next to them. And trees off to the left. I doubt he could do the measurements of the diameter of the giant hole, but it oddly looks like he is doing just that.

EDIT: NEVERMIND.

Supermodified. Possibly he is just repeating the symbols that he saw near machines or something like that. But yes i do have to agree that its very strange.

This comic suggests that primitive humans were around at the moment the ark was being built, which also means that the Forerunners were not related to us and that we are not their descendants. This leads me to my speculation that the forerunners intended to preserve at least a bit of humanity before the halos were fired and thats why the Ark was created, they have left all their machines to respond to human DNA or something like that and call them reclaimers, like they expected humanity to go out and find everything that they left behind.

From the look of everything, the 1AM-emails(which did NOT arrive at 1AM) and the posts, and updating halo3.com, Bungie seems to have a problem with getting things done in time. Just keep poking around the website, if nothing changes in an hour, we need to think of something else.

This isn't a coincidence.

Apart from the significance of the numbers, can anyone think of a valid reason why an African tribesman is using Hindu-Arabic numerals thousands of years before they were first used in their most primitive form?

Because it says right in the comic panel that he was repeating the strange symbols he had seen day in and day out, repeating themselves over and over. The strange symbols being the numbers themselves, as well as the glyph.

Nope. The Gods are not revealed. Only the machines.

Don't forget the delay that Crackdown users experienced when the Halo 3 Beta was released. Razz

Hey, I traced the IP, sadly it didn't get through. Though I DID see something weird. It went through 16 routers before unconfirming it. What number is underlined?

This is the original post on bungie.net that exposed the comic:

Quote:

go to halo3.com/comic It shows sentinels building the ark! Hurray and remember you read it hear first. If you are wondering how i found it, i am a paper carrier and was looking through the circuit city ads and saw AR's symbol there. And it said to go to www.halo3.com/comic

Very cool that it came from an ad Smile And that a carrier found it - who obviously knew enough to recognize the symbol. Awesome.
