People probably played around with the IP address. It's only 2 digits off the countdown one. I'm guessing that we were supposed to find this SOTA one first, and then the other... and we missed the clues. But it's hard to tell. Now that we know it, can we think of any clues we missed?

The other weird thing is this:

Quote:

One of our members came across a website that also contains this symbol (206.16.223.65) but it's much to early to determine if this is valid evidence of Ancients. None the less, the supposed "alien" server is quite interesting. The quest for the truth about this image remains.

Does that website actually have the symbol? All we have is the countdown at the moment. I'm guessing a big mistake was made here Smile

I tried to find out if there was somewhere that the a.b.org guys would have found it, but an Admin just said ">.> Fifth glyph" and it was there with the link and everything. I can't tell you for the world how they found this site.

We probably never got them. The comic wasn't supposed to be found until the weekend.
In fact, maybe whoever's monitoring this posted the 63 address in the first place once they realised the plan was boned.

Don't know if it's relevant, but the background image on the SOTA site has a counterpart that displays only yellow stars.

Might want to screw around with other images and see if there are hidden files.

Seriously, we need to know how someone out there found the .63 site. We could all be missing a valuable piece of this puzzle already.

Probably an off hand ILB reference, or a misspelling. I'd still like to know how this site was found, because the comic didn't have anything about this one...

Man it is the comic. The numbers in the final 3 panels are the ip for the main site.
Actually the one in the comic ended in a 5, while this new one ends in a 3... Wink

BTW, great work on finding the new site everyone! We can all contribute a lot more toward our end goal now that we all have something we can see and look at and contemplate on and tinker with.
I am thrilled to be in the midst of this stuff again!

i wasnt around for the original ILB campaign, but i imagine you people are getting the same thrill all over again.

You're daaaaamn right.
I'm sittin' here grinnin' like an eedjit. There's a certain heart-raciness to it, a catch in the breath, a slight wateriness in the eyes. I think this is going to be good.

Looky..

"The Round nature with counterpoints seems to bee an ancient theme."

On the evidence page, for Stonehenge. Odd that word of all words would be misspelt.. xD

I checked the links on the SOTA site. They all seem legit sources, but they may be worth checking out.

You may have calculated wrongly. The seconds go from 113-100, then to 66. so, as I said, 7 * 7(7 '0-6' seconds for each of the 7 cycles) = 49 + 14(extra 100-113 seconds) = 63. This same calculation goes for minutes in an hour, as far as I can tell. No idea for how many hours in a day... Waiting...

I looked back at the clock after you post. Going from 113 (which in base 7 is (49*1)+(7*1)+(1*3) = 59), the clock counts down to 000 as such:

113
112
111
110
106
105
104
103
102
101
100
066
065
064
063
062
061
060
056
055
054
053
052
051
050
046
045
044
043
042
041
040
036
035
034
033
032
031
030
026
025
024
023
022
021
020
016
015
014
013
012
011
010
006
005
004
003
002
001
000

That's 60 different values, meaning the clock operates like our base 60 clocks, only displaying the values in base 7.

I am checking a few other .6xs for the hell of it. Some seem to be parked the same way .65 was for a bit(before the count down). Can some do a whois, to see if they are all microsofts?

EDIT:bad news, the founder, mister David Gearoge turns up on google and IS a Notary public(whatever that is). Here is a link to Mr. Davids homepage

http://www.davidgeorge.co.uk/

Someone want to email him at the homepage, see whats going on?
