Oh wow...yeah. Good theory! I could get behind this idea.

Anything new on the Iris connection(s)?

Have we not assumed that AR is indeed a Forerunner AI? Would it be chased off by Sentinels? Monitors always have seemed to hold sway over Sentinels.

Unless our first assumption is wrong, which means AR is not Forerunner.

But AR has alluded that something isn't right. That, and I never trusted that Guilty Spark. Perhaps the Monitors have rebelled and AR is trying to set things right. Honestly, we don't know enough about AR to know for sure, but both theories are possible. (He is/isn't Forerunner)

EDIT: Besides, he doesn't fit the naming convention of the Monitors, so even if he is a Forerunner AI, it's doubtful he is a traditional "Monitor."

Is it just me or does the silhouette on the 3rd server look suspiciously like the head of a Brute?

No offense...but I think it's just you. Although the look of the Brutes has changed...but these look to be inorganic to me.

Yeah, it was just a hunch.

They might be items that Bungie will be revealing over the next couple of weeks. I think somebody also mentioned that they may be the monitors of the remaining 5 Halos.

Yeah, they do definitely look inorganic. Gotta go find my glasses.

Keep in mind that the Monitors exist to activate the Halos using the Reclaimer(s), while our buddy AR seems to be the keeper of the Ark. It's a grand Juxtaposition that the Monitors exhibit no offensive capabilities by themselves, but their main mission is offensive in nature(activate Halos); however AR seems to exhibit an offensive nature, but his main mission is defensive in nature (activate the Ark.) Of course this all relies on that being the ultimate goal of AR.

For all we know, AR might be trying to mobilize us to keep the SOTA from discovering the ARK, thus preserving it for the MC to find in 2552.

I'm just curious what our plan of attack should be. I mean, we're obviously way ahead of the PMs, and I'd be inclined to settle down for a couple days just to let them catch up. What I'm wondering is how far ahead we've actually skipped. I mean, the Avery Fane's Voicemail isn't set up, the emails aren't set up, the countdown wasn't set up when we got there. We could easily be a week ahead of them. We don't even know how this was even supposed to play out (how were we supposed to find Avery Fane's myspace?) I'm just curious what you guys think we should do?

Sounds like a plan. Batten down the hatches.
