Are there any live cams of the MSG entrance to Penn Station? I'm wondering if I should bother going over to check, not that it's that far, but I'm lazy and it's a Friday :-p

It looks like all I can find is Broadway,46 & Broadway,47 & Broadway,49 & Broadway,and 49 & 7 St.

For what it's worth, the clock in the background looks to be the Antikythera mechanism.

The second guy with the myspace blog that linked to SOTA has changed it's profile. Turns out he was messing with people I guess.

Not much of a surprise for that one.

The Antikythera mechanism wasn't a clcok. It was actually a mechanical computer used to calculate the position of the planets and stars. Though technically it is used to calculate something in relation to time, it was not used to calculate what time it currently was, so therefore not a clock...

I meant to type "clock-like." Yes, it's more of an advanced astrolabe.

Hooray for webcams!

Like others, I found a live webcam feed of Times Square, but found no protesters there. Luckily, this feed had an archive function, so I just tracked back a few hours and voila! Lots of flyer-bearing people in yellow shirts. Jackpot!

If you want to watch the archived feed for yourself, go here and view the archive for the 15th between noon and 4:00 PM.

Yeah, sorry not to sound like a jerk. I apologize, I really wasn't meaning any offense. I'm just not used to being around people that are as smart (EDIT: or smarter than, probably more smarter than) as me. I do tech support for my friends, and the most common problem is that they forgot to "plug it in". That kinda gives you a sense for the kind of people I hang around with.

Laughing

If you're going to stick around here, you should probably get used to being surrounded by people that are as smart or smarter than you.

somebody probably went into an epileptic fit.

I checked out the background image (http://societyoftheancients.com/sota_images/a-startile1.gif) and then thought, "Hey, why not try "b" and then "2" instead of "a" and "1"." b turned up nothing but 2 gave me this.

Probably nothing yet but I thought I would post it anyway.

Maybe that is the "Yay, you unlocked my secrets" background?
