Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

This is an offshoot of the conversation in the Puzzles forum, but I think it bears its own topic.

"The rider on the white horse has many interpretations�one is that he represents Christ; the rider on the red horse is war; on the black horse is famine; and on the pale horse, death."

White rider = Jake, Christlike
Red rider = Caretaker/Red Knight; he worked for the CIA and seemed bitter about the end of the Cold War, do we honestly completely trust his motives?
Pale (grey) rider = SPECTRUM, death.
Black rider = ?

What do we know about the Black Knight?

'blek hest' is norwegian for 'pale horse'
