Sorry, went out to eat. Just caught up.

This is some neat thinking with the incorrect spellings.

It reminds me, Avery Fane's latest blog is misspelled.

"I am not your messaih"

Think it could mean anything?

Be advised I've found Avery Fane's IMDB page which may mean he's a player and not a character. Has anybody ever heard of or seen any of the films in his resume?

-- Steve thinks it's be horribly awkward to be an actor "outed" in an ARG. What do you say that won't wreck things?

yeah that page was discovered right around the time of this myspace-blog...

looks like not too many people have seen the movies he was in since they are all still awaiting 5 votes... and from all the movies, looks like he is the only actor on there with a photo ( at first quick view ), might dive further into this if i get a chance...

[Spec] Countdown and link to SOTA

Grifter_7 brought up a good point. SOTA links to the countdown page, and says that the glyph is on that page. So, the glyph SHOULD Be on this page (eventually).

That coupled with the "Rotate Transition Point /negative/
Local Interference - Negligible" message makes me think this.

Perhaps the countdown is counting down to the glyph appearing on this page, and the realignment is refering to the image realigning itself (all those little cells) into the glyhp.

well I'm not 100% sure this is what you mean, but yesterday there was a mentioning of an asian popstar found in one of the images on teh avery-site/blog not sure anymore:

Quote:

The suspect Avery Fane picture, at the very end of his portfolio has some "image info" attached to it, which states: "Hamasaki Ayumi knows whats up".

Hamasaki Ayumi is apparently a female Pop star in Japan, according to my base google search. Leap?

the godess WE were talking about is Iris because first of all AR replied to it in one of the threads, and then later talks about golden wings and stuff AND it turned out that on the Avery site, he was holding Iris-flowers ( and he had wings just like Iris )

and it was confirmed that Avery has talked to a 'user' called 'Cortana' ( as becomes clear from the replies on his myspace-page...

I seem to remember one of the ilovebees actors being identified too...or was that part of the story? I'm shocked how bad my memory is from just 2 years ago! Smile

avery pic?

www.sweatshopoutfitters.com has an image of what looks like Avery, This link was found by someone on Bungie that went to the main SOTA site and typed in a password, (He was vague here).

Then, on http://ftp.sweatshopoutfitters.com/ theres a phrase in German that means "the machine is in" in english. Then ftp://ftp.sweatshopoutfitters.com is password protected any connection between any of these things?

Actually, the quote means "This machine is a Microsoft IIS/6.0"

I believe it just figures out what you are running on your comp and it spits it out back to you.

It also adds the current date and time (not machine date and time because my computer is showing the time at 1 minute faster than what this website displays.

Wierd title for the page though. "NTXPWUS25"

Much Appreciated Grifter_7.

The pub down the street is in dire need of patrons. I bid all an adieu. For tonight.

Just to be nitpicky, IIS is Microsoft-made webserver software.

No, the site only got around because someone from NeoGAF, in Times Square, saw members of SOTA handing out flyers. Flyers that look like this-

http://www.sweatshopoutfitters.com/sota.jpg

So he scanned and hosted. You should probably stop trying to hack his stuff Laughing

And here's da proof.

i really can't figure out how they got to this site, if anybody has a link to the post that talks about it, I'd gladly see it...

because, honestly, I'm not convinced that the guy on the image is in fact Avery... furthermore, this site was allready linked to by a youtube-video in january 2007:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJ5rL8rryk8
[EDIT2]it is an amusing video though Smile and the titel doesn't really fit the content... so it sure is strange, but not related to this...[/EDIT2]
sweatshopoutfitters.com is mentioned on the post on dabble that is together with this video:
http://dabble.com/node/10956310

and it is mentioned as well in this post:
http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/off-topic/682-interesting-favorite-or-funny-websites-35/
also in january2007

looks like alkaline_black allready proved the same thing...
