SOTA seems focused on Stonehenge more so than any other alien phenomenon. Why? There are plenty of other places to tighten the lens, but on their site, their signs, and in the video of their speeches, they appear enamored with the circle of stones. Granted, it looks a bit like the glyph, and it does have to do with alignment and solstice, two thing are become more and more important to AR and this entire sequence of events. I wonder if the mysterious stones will be playing a significant role as we move forward.

Hmmm... remeber how AR was looking for something? Maybe we should beed him the Long/Lat for stonhenge the next time he surfaces.

Interesting BBC piece on Stonehenge.

Of note is that the structure was built to take advantage of the Summer Solstice. It has been noted that the countdown we are currently watching at the site titled "Transmission Log" will end at Summer Solstice and refers to "alignment."

Here is what Stonehenge would have looked like in it's completed state at such a time:

Also of interest is the myth behind the construction of the circle. It was built by giants commanded by Merlin of Arthurian fame, who lugged the immense stones from Africa.

Too coincidental for my tastes, but I'll confess that it is pure spec and groping for dots to connect at this point.

As long as were suuper imposing the glyph on things, try stonehenge. That looks pretty close.

What do you think?

Edit: added a slightly better overlay.

Meteoric Grain of Salt Incoming

Googled "Stonehenge Summer Solstice" and got to this site:

http://www.infinitepossibility.org/welcome.html

check the background image:

And a nice poem:

Quote:
Our planet is turning, on its path around the sun

Earth mother is calling her children home

Light IS returning
Even in our darkest hour, NO ONE can hold back the dawn

So keep it burning, keep this flame of hope alive

As we journey together through the storm

They also have a link to "The Truth and Reconciliation Comission[sic] for Stonehenge and Related Issues."

Probably completely OoG, and I wouldn't invest much time in it, if any at all, but it's very interesting to look at from the outside. Perhaps some of the content and design was borrowed by the PMs.

I think I've had way too many cups of coffee. Wink

Matches very well and you're using my janky, Paint-drawn glyph. I eyeballed the alignment of the spokes and given that Stonehenge has undoubtedly shifted, I'd say the match is close enough for Internet work.

Something tells me we'll see more of our ancient stone friend.

Try to rotate the glyph so that the four major spokes cut through the four spaces between the inner circle of stones. The "opening" in the glyph should then line up with the opening in Stonehenge.

^ i don't think it will work, the gaps between the legs in the glyph are too wide, it'll overlap somewhere.

I browsed the site I linked above and while I think it's more than a coincidence that they've used similar imagery and language, I doubt that it's in-game. Looks to be a legit site of hippies and crackpots. Wink

I was thinking that the alignment with the heel stones could be matched with the "opening" in the glyph's secondary circle (working outward from the center for reference), as opposed to the small segment near the center.

Derelict=Desolation

Wasn't the new map on the 360 (Desolation) built off of Derelict? Maybe we need to change the date and look at that map, but there are 24 hours in a day so you would have to look at all times. In case Bungie made it time and date specific. Maybe we need to split this up and assign hours, and post back with the finds?

Grabbed the verson of the symbol off the SotA website. Still not quite alligned properly. Sad might be the stonehenge diagram that's at issue.

And with that, I leave you for the next 48 hours. Try not to solve everything while I'm gone. Wink

Nice, Phoenix

I tried emailing it to SOTA, but as expected, it got bounced back.

Side note (hopefully this hasn't been pointed out, but there's 80+ pages to go through so I probably missed something), I looked up the 550 error, and it seems to happen when the mail server won't accept the domain the mail is coming from. Long shot: finding the right email service to send to them from. Of course, it's probably just locked down until (presumably) tomorrow, but thought I'd mention it.
