Umm, ok, it seems we got the UFE thing right. Damien's mother underwent UFE, and the whole "Mark" vs Elise... whatever from AngBa's convo was meant to show that Mark is a bland name in comparison to the others. He used to be good friends with all them, and now they don't talk much.

I can't tell if this is in-game or not... I guess the only way would be to ask them. They're not on.

they're not in-game, as in... not at all?

Then why do they come up as the only result on a google search for a fictitious Sanitarium? And they appear in an in-game character's info.

This is... different. I like cracks in the wall between in-game and out-of-game, but this seems a little... i guess... is this a game? Duh, that's stupid, of course it is, but why put a random screen name in the info? And WHY DOES THAT BAND COME UP IN GOOGLE?

Intriguing...

EDIT:

Talking with Damien some more, got a screen name for Elise that he says she doesn't use much anymore, but I might be able to get her on. "ClaretCrystalis" and no I didn't spell anything wrong, I thought maybe it was crysalis but apparently it's not.

And he says not to pursue Give Me Fire XX, as "whatever Mark is doing" revolves around Mark, Elise, Ryan, and him, Damien.

No response from Ryan yet.

Well, I sent an email to Ryan, waiting to hear... I'd suggest you talk with Damien, then, tipsila... it seems like he wants you to.

I don't know what to think.

If anyone uses GAIM to go on AIM, then you can see when the screen names were registered. If Gdogg628 is several years old, like Mark told me, then I think they've done an excellent job of blurring the lines, and I'm gonna be really confused trying to figure out what's in game and what's not. But if it was registered last week some time, then we've got a game on our hands.

Unfortunately, I don't use GAIM, so I can't figure it out.

And, yeah. I think (or at least, this was my original thought) that we're supposed to search that tag on some website with the initials NC to get a hit about something or other.

And did anyone get anything with that repeated string of letters I posted that was his away message?
