Just the other day I saw an advert for it in my newspaper (The Oregonian). I remembered this post and just laughed! I would have ripped it out, but I don't have a scanner and I forgot which day and section it was in. Confused

SarK, I saw it in my local paper, Palm Beach Post. I'll scan it in and add it Friday if I can locate it again.

Two small identical posts in my paper, on opposing pages. Weird. Caught my attention, which might be the goal of an ad.

OTOH, WTF does it have to do with the product?

OTOH, since when does advertising have to be about the product?

Travelocity...*sigh*

Heard a radio ad today -
The voiceover was The Gnome writing a letter to his owner all about where he's been. Seems to be in a ski or snowboarding resort of late. "Signed, Your Obedient Ornament"
Followed by a Travelocity stinger.

Ah well, my beloved Gnomes exploited for cheap commerce once again.
