How are we ordering these? Based on the follow the leader thing, or just randomly?

I think it looks like we can either order the solution in terms of the single letters to form full words to get what's in the parentheses, or chain the phrases in the parentheses to get the full words from the single letters. When one is complete, the other should also make sense. There should be about 32 letters/parentheses, assuming he hasn't added additional emails since the last puzzle.

At least that's what I think. :3

The letters might be something else for us to rot (or etc) too.

P The thing that I
E like most about
R codes (and mysteries
T in general) is
S solutions. We struggle
C in darkness with
U all of the
T loose ends

O But when the
U correct solution
T is reached,
H after much time
E and mental
S effort, everything
O suddenly falls
L into place,
N and the result
B is a clear and

N even the most
S perceptive one, what
T you see makes
N previous efforts
B worthwhile. Our

Not sure where to put the rest of it, but those are my best guesses so far, and I agree that "...a stranger to show you the bigger picture." seems the most likely end for it. I think we're still missing a lot of pieces, though.

I wrote all the letter-plus-snippets on little pieces of paper and've been playing with rearranging them. It's kind of like those magnetic poetry things, with the words on the fridge.

Some possibilities:

Quote:

P (The thing that I)
E (like most about)
R codes (and mysteries
T in general) is
A (that, to the)
I (casual observer, and)
N (even the most)
S (perceptive one, what)
T (you see makes)
O (no sense 99.99%)
Y (of the time.)
O (But, when the)
U (correct solution)
T (is reached,)
H (after much time)
E (and mental)
S (effort, everything)
O (suddenly falls)
L (into place,)
U (all of the)
T (loose ends)
I (become tied,)
O (the mysteries unraveled,)
N (and the result)
---------
G (worthwhile. Our)
N (previous efforts)
---
B (is a clear and)
-----
S (solutions. We struggle)
C (in darkness with)
----

E (a stranger to show)
R you the bigger picture.

If the first part is right, it might be saying the number clue pertains to ???. With the clues we have now it might be South , or Youth.

Could be:
Pertains to youth['s] solution...

(added Dustin724's clue from below)

There's also that bold/italicized letters to take into account. Only 1 person has confirmed that there's a "lead the follower" chain with an email link (DerKork). Lead the follower seems to be telling us to work backwards in that regard.

And I think so far we have a T E and I confirmed as bold/italics in our recent string of emails. I think there might be a second E confirmed, but I'm not sure and can't check too well right now since I'm on dialup.

Anyway, that's all I can think up for now...meep.

Excuse me, but "Boner pertains you to the solution" (which you could create out of the pieces) sounds more like a plan for CM's saturday night than a hint towards us... Wink

I contacted my follower but where to lead him? We'll see...

(Weird that I have a follower and noone else gained a new one seemingly - I ain't that special.)

Maybe it's not "pertains to youth solution" but "pertains to you. The solution"???

I can give you more personal info about the CM than this...
he loves run-on sentences.

I don't have a clue what solution I would have, but I have to agree it's probably "you, the" instead of "youth."

Anyway, here's what I have so far.

P (The thing that I)
E (like most about)
R codes (and mysteries
T in general) is
A (that, to the)
I (casual observer, and)
N (even the most)
S (perceptive one, what)
T (you see makes)
O (no sense 99.99%)
Y (of the time.)
O (But, when the)
U (correct solution)
T (is reached,)
H (after much time)
E (and mental)
S (effort, everything)
O (suddenly falls)
L (into place,)
U (all of the)
T (loose ends)
I (become tied,)
O (the mysteries unraveled,)
N (and the result)
B (is a clear and)

N (previous efforts)
G (worthwhile. Our)

S (solutions. We struggle)
C (in darkness with)
E (a stranger to show)
R you the bigger picture.

Emphasized letters: i, e, t
