I was speculating in the chatroom tonight and was encouraged to enter some of our thoughts here. I'm backing up a few steps, but there's not really another logical place to put all of this for now...

Regarding the Khamsa hand on Mr. AJ's blog:
The first time we saw it, it was not crossed out. I stated in chat that this led me to believe that he was deflecting the power of the hand back to the Sammeeeees so that it bounced off of him, like a mirror.
It then changed to show a red 'x' through the center, which I further speculated removed the power from the hand, which would explain why the hand is no longer working to protect the Sammeeeees any longer.

Mr. AJ also changed the name of the picture to "blood feud", which leads me to believe he considers himself 'at war' with those he once considered family, namely Peeps, Patricia, the White Roses, and the Jackals.

Finally, we speculated that the date we were supposed to be watching for on the Blue Door blog was tomorrow, Tuesday. Tuesday is ruled by Mars, the God of War, and Mithras' third level of initiate is the Soldier. We already have confirmed contact by "The Veiled Bride" (Nymphus--2nd level initiate) both in Peep's blog and in the comments section of the Indirect Contact blog, and a reference by the DoEP to a "Plucked Raven"(although not a 'good guy' in this particular reference, the Raven is a 1st level initiate), and information from Nymphus that "Pater" (7th level of initiate) will tell us more tomorrow (Tuesday).

We speculated that the Sammeeeees and/or White Roses were assuming the roles of the various initiate levels of Mithraism, but why still remains a mystery, as does which member was assuming which role. We're thinking we'll find that someone has assumed the role of Soldier tomorrow.

YAY LACEY!!!!

This morning I woke up wondering why the only MySpace changes were for Higgs and for Peeps. Higgs labeled his "AT YOUR WINDOW" and Peeps' could be looing through a windows.

We spec'd that Higgs might be the BRIDE, but Peeps' blog comment said "I TOOK HER HAND". Trinket is the one who is confirmed out of town during the time frame.

So who is the true BRIDE in the Mithras mythos?

Either we'll find out in AT THE ALTER today or THE BLUE DOOR tomorrow.

Edit to add: I wrote a little too soon. Trinket's MySpace has changed background and she has a new avatar. Very veiled bride-like.
