 		That looks legitimate enough. And I don't think that Foman is one to lie about something like this.

But who is the "us" that AR is referring to as being with him? Hmm. This means that the enemy is also with AR, wherever that may be.

Actually, I'm pretty sure AR used "us" before.

 		Maybe AR is the GM/Cortana combo and they are being attacked by something even bigger than themselves

 		Hmmm US seems to refer to AR and some other entity with him. Also for now i would like to avoid throwing around the possibility of Cortana being involved until we have some clear time travel going on.

There has been nothing to suggest that any time travel has taken place yet in this ARG, and that would be necessary for this to be Gravemind/Cortana from 500 years in the future. I personally doubt it.

 		What if the He is a Reclaimer? Is it possible that AR is more reluctant to activate the rings than other monitors or is malfunctioning?

This may have lead to AR's description of the larger routine as something wicked. It doesn't want to end it's interaction with us. Thus the hiding in some place small, it will compress itself and try to remain inconspicous as the larger construct awakens.

Now whether or not this is cortana or not is still in question. I don't see any solid evidence yet that this is the case, so for myself I will treat AR and the larger construct not as gravemind or cortana, but as a completely new individual within the Halo universe.


This is really good stuff. However, AR talks about the higher ranked routine as "He". Cortana is a "She". Because she was based off a flash clone of Doctor What's Her Face.

 		Well if it is a reclaimer then yes AR is malfunctioning, but again there is no sign that this entity is human or forerunner or anything else that can fall into the category of reclaimer


Edit: Dr. Catherine Halsey, which wont happen for about another 500 years
