Explanation of the timer

I've noticed that many of you are puzzled by the erratic - from your perspective, behavior of the timer, which is located at: http://206.16.223.65/

Lets perform an experiment, shall we, my bright eyed companions? Let the timer count down to '000 000 000 000'.

But alas - don't worry! It shouldnít take more than five minutes. The observant among you may notice that the countdown differential has dynamic value. The even more observant among you may also notice that the countdown displays its value in base seven, that is, using the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

If you then take the liberty of then refreshing the page, you may notice that it is again, in base seven and shall therefore, be made up of the numbers from zero to six. Using a conversion algorithm (an explanation can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base_conversion#Change_of_radix) you shall be given the full time remaining in the countdown, in your native, decimal form.

Base 7 (025 044 036) = Base 10 (019:32:27)
Make your time, humans.
