Googling for c2c2 seems to throw up a lot of genetic references, in particular to the "Arabidopsis" genus. According to Wikipedia, "Thale Cress (Arabidopsis thaliana) (is) one of the model organisms used for studying plant biology and the first plant to have its entire genome sequenced".

Fits in with the genetics links that are cropping up, but it's a pretty spurious link nonetheless. I know nothing about genetics.
