[TRAILHEAD] 6op 1 libra rabbithole / arg / smells puzzly found via a random google blog search for alternate reality games Leery writes

One of my friends travels back and forth from coast to coast fairly regularly. He noticed some graffiti on both coasts stating "6op1libra.com" and brought it to my attention.....
From initial analysis:
There's some Alice in wonderland things, raven, keywords in source, plus dutch text translates to:
"The white rabbit follows after you find its foot"

Several references to St. Thomas in the British Virgin Islands.
Also a biblical painting depicting doubting Thomas and Jesus.

There's reversed text, as if it "bled" through the other side, on the newspaper image. It appears to be duplicated for each column.

http://blogs.warwick.ac.uk/medialog/entry/the_culture_of/ mentions "6op 1" in a comment posted by "Palmer Eldritch", which is the title character of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Three_Stigmata_of_Palmer_Eldritch. The comment is left on a talk that posits "Is genetics the new religion?"

"Leery" of the aforementioned blog here.
I wanted to point out that "nevar" is more than an anagram of raven, it's raven spelled backwards. See this article for more on "raven-nevar":

Anya Kirilov returns no meaningful google searches, nor Facebook matches.
Sounds like an odd kind of name. Any code in it?

I had done the same sort of searches to little avail as well. However, Kirilov does relate to religion, given enough "find clues that support the theory" googling: http://www.sparknotes.com/philosophy/sisyphus/section9.rhtml

This is somewhere in the Arabian Sea

www.highfivegame.com says: "Why is a raven like a writing desk?"
This, plus the Raven-nevaR, makes me start to think that this puzzle has no answer. Or the author has no answer for us, but we just make our own.
Maybe this is the ARG-bait of all ARGs. The puzzle with no solution, or as he puts it... "this is not a game, rabbit foot"

Code:
<script>...
mycount = mycount + 11;
document.write(mycount);
// ...</script
On each page, the counter is increased by 11 for the... hits? Why is this so?

Edit for anyone trying to catch up with all of this thread: there are a couple of wikis now set-up to try and sort through it: http://www.exmosis.net/6op1wiki (see this post for password and http://wikihost.org/wikis/6op1libra/wiki/start .
From the 6op1libra.com and highfivegame.com metadata:
meta name="author" content="c2c2"
"c2c2" is also the ALT text for the image at highfivegame.com linking back to 6op1libra.com.
Googling for c2c2 seems to throw up a lot of genetic references, in particular to the "Arabidopsis" genus. According to Wikipedia , "Thale Cress (Arabidopsis thaliana) (is) one of the model organisms used for studying plant biology and the first plant to have its entire genome sequenced".
Fits in with the genetics links that are cropping up, but it's a pretty spurious link nonetheless. I know nothing about genetics.

Description of highfivegame.com = "42 1 18 76"
Could this be an IP? Anyone care to connect via IRC, as I don't have it installed.

Saw the link before, but didn't notice the reference in it to "H.sapiens" - is this the genetic map for hoomans? Are there other "H. Sapiens" out there? No idea what I'm looking at...
[edit] yeah, definitely relates to humans...
