Hi,

I read an article about your group in the Charlotte Observer back in February, and was reminded of this stuff you do when I saw this post on youtube.

The person who posted it says it's from a message left on his answering machine. That struck me as pretty unlikely until I started thinking about all the other goofy crap that's on youtube. So I thought I'd pass it along, since it seems equally unlikely that the message is legit.

Sorry to waste your time if it turns out it was just some drunk guy.

No, you got that right. This isn't an ARG, but it's ARG-like.

If you go to www.tradecraftjournal.com the trail starts.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In the source of the page it has http://www.tradecraftjournal.com/c/a/kalasaaksi -- go to that and it claims you mistyped something and gives you choices. Third choice http://www.tradecraftjournal.com/c/2/kalasaaksi leads you to the next page. That leads to http://overwatch.visualfiction.net/ov_p-c1.htm -- which is where the files are kept.


According to the Meta page for this project, it'll be a "multimedia storytelling project" of a similar vein to their previous project, Autumn Country.

 		I downloaded Quicken 7 to listen to the audio files, but so far I don't understand how I'm supposed to do the listening. Can anyone give me some technical help?

You have to laugh...

If its quicken your using no wonder why you cant view it...

You need Quicktime not quicken.. Wink Very Happy

Can anyone help? When I try to load the sound files it displays the quicktime logo with a big qeustion mark over it. I have quicktime 7.0.4. What's going on?

Pariahchild, click on the little OverWatch graphic, and from there click on "Appendix." You are told to subscribe to an RSS feed or, if that doesn't work for you, near the bottom is a link to view the information on Blip TV. From the blip.tv site you'll be able to hear all the audio files.

AS far as I know, uh-uh. FYI, I called the Hotel number(The Westin Hotels number on Collateral 1 img 1, and it is a real number best I can tell.)

 		Claudia's number just beeps and tells you the time over and over again (EST, somewhere in Washington maybe?)

I followed the Westin number and site and it leads to a live person (the number on the site) who I'm pretty sure thought I was crazy. Still looking through the files and seeing what I can find.
