"The echoed message pertains to me" fits, but it's been debated in chat. Smile

Renee,

You follow me because the unknown draws you.

The last letter you're missing is T.

Now you should be able to solve everything.

With the added t - anagrams to:

The code pertains to me. The message (pertains to you. The solution brings us closer.)

or

The message pertains to me. The code (pertains to you. The solution brings us closer.)

We have to link it to the other letters (with phrases I think).

I think it's probably:

The message pertains to me. The code (pertains to you. The solution brings us closer.)

Because the CM is supposed to be giving us information about himself. I'm still clueless about how to solve this.

so I think we've gotten through the phrases and the letters - we just need to get to the numbers - hmm... do you think the "time" that was emphasized in the phrases relates to the numbers?

good job

Good job with the letters solve. That damn 't' really helped. I spent hours trying to figure that out. Grrrrrrr. Anyway, I'm over it, kinda. As to the number puzzle, I don't exactly see how solving the letters makes solving the numbers any easier. So the number puzzle has to do with us and probably time but I have looked at it from 101 different angles and I just can't see how this is supposed to work. Enough of my rambling, I'm sure when we figure it out I'll have to smack myself in the forehead.

Ok, I think this one is correct.

The code pertains to me. The message (pertains to you. The solution brings us closer.)

The "me" = codemaster

because if you use codemaster and rot the letters vs the numbers you get

C O D E M A S T E R C O
17 19 1 16 3 15 12 24 13 23 12 24
T H E U P P E R R O O M

I havent figured out the 2nd half the simple solutions dont seem to be working.

The 2nd set of numbers are
10 1 11 24 4 18 0 10 0 16 12 17

We are discussing this in chat. Come help !
I think Jabroni might have a new website and place to look for clues too.
Im sure she'll post if it pans out.

Ok, I got the 2nd part too.

We started with

C O D E M A S T E R C O
17 19 1 16 3 15 12 24 13 23 12 24
T H E U P P E R R O O M

Then we rot theupperroom vs the 2nd set o numbers

T H E U P P E R R O O M
10 1 11 24 4 18 0 10 0 16 12 17
D I P S T H E B R E A D

So we have : The upper room dips the bread

and we now try to figger out what it means

I posted this summary at FET for Michael. Hopefully it makes sense and helps explain all the crazy stuff that he sent us lately.

A lot has happened in the past week or so. I will try to summarize everything that has happened so you know what's going on.

Thursday night - Jun. 14

Last Thursday the Codemaster sent out emails to many of us that have been trying to rescue your son.

My email said this:

Quote:
Dear Nicole

It is time we got to know each other better. All relationships take work, and this one is no exception. If you wish to know more about me, you must tell me about yourself first.

Codemaster
17 19 1 16 3 15 12 24 13 23 12 24
10 1 11 24 4 18 0 10 0 16 12 17

All of us received this same number code. We tried for a day or so, but none of us could decode it.

As I stated in an earlier post, all of us sent the CM personal information as he requested. We are only cooperating with him in hopes that he will finally release Eric.

Friday night - Jun. 15

Then, on Friday night, the Codemaster sent out more emails. In the email he thanked us for giving him personal information, and asked question(s) to learn more about us. At the end, he gave us another clue. Most people received a single letter, although a few received two letters.

All together, we received the following string of letters:

Quote:
P S M T O SA ME A H R S T C E T O GE I E E D N H E E T

We tried to arrange these letters into a message, but we couldn't figure it out.

Saturday night - Jun. 16

We started to receive more emails from the CM. Now, instead of sending just a single letter, the CM sent a letter followed by a phrase. He then posted one on this forum, the post that you replied to.

Quote:
R you the bigger picture

Together these phrases made a message. When the message was put together, the outside letters spelled a separate message.

The message, with all the phrases together, says:

Quote:
The thing that I like most about codes and mysteries in general is that, to the casual observer, and even the most perceptive one, what you see makes no sense 99.99% of the time. But, when the correct solution is reached, after much time and mental effort, everything suddenly falls into place, all of the loose ends become tied, the mysteries unraveled, and the result is a clear and satisfyingly coherent picture that makes all the previous efforts worthwhile. Our lives are like puzzles without solutions. We struggle in darkness with pieces that don't [piece missing] [piece missing] a stranger to show you the bigger picture.

The outside letters spelled out:

Quote:
Pertains to you, the solution brings us closer.

Through some hints from the CM, Windmill Hill figured out that the string of individual letters spells out:

Quote:
The code pertains to me, the message...

And combining this with the other coded message we got:

Quote:
The code pertains to me, the message pertains to you, the solution brings us closer.

Another person who has posted in this fourm, Das Llama, figured out from here how to solve the number code.

In the past the CM has used a rotation cipher to encode messages. This message was a backwards rot. It turned out that we had to rotate the word "Codemaster" based on the numbers he gave.

Line up the first line of letters underneath Codemaster, then rotate each letter that number of times (example rotate C forward 17 times)
Quote:

C O D E M A S T E R C O
17 19 1 16 3 15 12 24 13 23 12 24
T H E U P P E R R O O M

10 1 11 24 4 18 0 10 0 16 12 17

With this, we still could not get the second line to decode. Das Llama figured out that we needed to rotate "the upper room":

Quote:

T h e u p p e r r o o m
10 1 11 24 4 18 0 10 0 16 12 17
D i p s t h e b r e a d

With this message, "the upper room, dips the bread" BlessedMercy noticed that he is referring to the Last Supper. The room where the Last Supper takes place is referred to as The Upper Room. Judas, the betrayer, is the person who dips the bread.

I sent the CM an email asking who dips the bread? And he replied that he already has.
