However, I must admit that I have no idea what "key bull" means. Not a new addition -- it's from June 15th's "I don't know about that" post. Anybody want to fill me in on the meaning of the phrase so I can use it public to look cool? Cool

Don't know what to make of the above to be honest. As far as I'm aware Schrijvertje is a dedicated follower of this whole mystery and certainly not involved in any way, all the pages linked seemed to indicate that he is a proactive force in the 4400 fan community, and a very creative fan at that. I made lots of similar posts during my time as an ardent Millennium fan, lots of fan fiction, fan art and other musings. I just think he's a very literate and creative gentleman.

Anyhow.
Sent a message to DJ in effort to get a handle on his role in things. I wanted to understand if he is simply an innocent bystander or involved with either Lachlan or Dr. Hendler. I decided to use the Father's Day motif as a lure.

He does at least seem to indicate that he too as parental issues, his lack of having a reason to enjoy Father's Day at least suggest to me that he may be part of the bigger picture. I shall thank him for his reply and try to coax him a little more.

Mokey : Key Bull has driven me mad. Cannot get a handle on it, yes it is part of the stock market lexicon but that doesn't fit in the context it is being used. I read it as the key to something being 'bull'.

*Goes to get an even bigger headache thinking about the Key Bull phrase*

Nice background check on me, yougetmehigh Razz

Yes, that 4400 stuff is another "game" of sorts, but I kinda lost interest in it. I liked the special ability angle, but the forum there got way too political at times.

Thanks for the compliment, fizzcharlson. Yes, the only way I'm involved with this is trying to solve the mystery, like the rest of you. You can always check my profile and my website if you want to know more about me.

I've been wondering about "key bull" myself. I can't find an anagram, except if it's a name. Luke Bly? Ely Bulk? I don't think so. I guess we have to take it at face value. I say it means "rubbish induced by being high", since "bull" is universally known to mean rubbish, and "keyed" means being high on marijuana, at least according to the urban dictionary. Dr. Hendler obviously believes all the theories and predictions about solar flares are rubbish. Actually, he thinks they are a bit more than common rubbish.

Which leads me to his new blog post, titled V&V. There's no reference to the title in the text, but it's an acronym which can mean "verification and validation". I say Dr. Hendler wants them all to verify and validate those theories/predictions before coming out in the open with them.

And yes, I already commented on it, as yougetmehigh well noted.

Two new posts in the Blindspot Blog!
*Keels over in excitement*
He's also beginning to respond to our messages. Nothing particularly telling at present. He again pours scorn on theories of solar-flare /sunspot activity being destructive.
*Note to self*
Key Bull?
Lachlan/Hendler connection.

I already typed all of this so i'm still going to post it. Laughing

Hi, well you sure have been doing a lot of research. I just thought I'd let you know that the 4400 is an awesome show on USA Network about some people (4400 to be exact Smile), who were abducted by aliens and then sent back to earth to change the world from the "catastrophic" course it is headed in. The sites that you picked up on are sort of like their ingame thing. It is something new this season where the viewers get to choose which side of the Promicine war the want to be on. They get to create their own characters and abilities. (BTW, promicine is the drug found in the 4400 when they came back that gave them super human abilities. 50/50 chance that if you take it you live or die)

Basically all I'm saying is that I don't really think this has anything to do with the ARG that we are attempting to get into right here. You did a whole lot of research on a fellow poster because you saw him getting more interactive? Don't feel bad. I'm new to this thing and there are still many things that I don't understand. But I do know the 4400 and I know (I hope I don't have to go back on this in the end if it turns out to be some elaborate plot for the 4400, which I doubt) that this has nothing to do with the 4400 or Promicin shots. Good research though. Smile

btw==i sent lachlan a message on myspace just to feel him out...try to see what his relationship is with hendler. will see if he replies

I think that's the nice thing about this particular mystery, we're all pretty new to it judging by the number of posts (except the mighty Mokey) so we are all learning together. Yougetmehigh must certainly leand his/her amazing deductive skills to the mystery. It certainly is all about helping each other.

Good luck with that Katrinasrvivr504. I entirely convinced that Hendler and Murdoch are not friends. In reply to George's post on his blog he notes that "....There is one of you, however, who has nothing, it seems, but knives out for me..." I'm sure this refers to Lahlan. None of us have been anything but pleasant in our replies and posts.

First of all, nice avatar fizzcharlson Wink

I've been wondering about Hendler's comment about that person as well. So you think he means Lachlan? Perhaps because Lachlan is sending him all those articles in an attempt to convince him of the dangers of solar flares, something Hendler all but believes? So Hendler is annoyed by Lachlan's efforts, yet for some reason he doesn't want to name him: "you know who, hon". If his daughter knows who, then does this mean Lachlan and the girl know each other? Then again, if Hendler is annoyed by Lachlan's efforts, then why encourage the guy by posting and commenting on it all in his blog?

I'm not totally convinced about the nature of the Hendler/Lachlan relationship. After all, Lachlan has Hendler listed as a personal hero, so except if he's being sarcastic, he definitely looks up to the doc.

By the way, I did a search on the 1958 solar maxima mentioned in Hendler's latest blog. Turns out he exactly copied two paragraphs from this article: http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2006/10mar_stormwarning.htm

Could we perhaps establish what Hendler's full name is? And perhaps his daughter's as well? But how to ask such, rather personal information in a blog comment? "Hey, we've been stalking you for about a week now, but who are you exactly?"

This struck me as odd, considering that one of the thing on the original nomoreparents.com site was "What if there were no more cell phones?"

Thanks for the avatar praise Schrijvertje, changed it again though as it wasn't quite what I wanted. I had made an all singing all dancing animated nomoreparents userbar but it violated signature rules I'm afraid. Shame as I was very proud of my efforts.

The cell phone thing had me thinking of yet another mysterious element of this trail. Who was responsible for, and what was the purpose of, the original nomoreparents.com site. I know it's of little help to add yet another conundrum to the list of things we don't know but all we can be sure of so far is that Lachlan Murdoch. Dr. J Hendler, DJ and an enigmatic website all have in common a parental relationship theme and a shared penchant for the word ORBITAS and anagrams of it.

I agree that we can't be certain as to the true nature of the relationship of these individuals though I am in the process of trying to determine if DJ does in fact know either of these chaps in any capacity.

I beginning to wonder if ORBITAS could in fact be an organisation with a possible astronomical research mandate? Could these three souls be members? Opponents of? Does the use of a stock market phrase on Dr. Hendler's blog imply that Lachlan Murdoch is manipulating astronomical data in an effort to create uncertainty and influence the stock market?

Wild, wild speculation I know.

As for Mokey's comment "...just wait until they find out I have no idea what I'm doing..." Glas it isn't only me that's flaying about widly in the dark Laughing

Heh, I feel like the farther we get down this rabbit hole, the darker it gets, and no one brought a flashlight...

Hey, could ORBITAS be an acronym for something?

We're doing great, guys. It's a group effort, you know. What one person might miss, will be caught by another, and even if that person can't immediately do something with it, discussing it here might inspire yet another person, the way I found Lachlan's MySpace thanks to Mokey's train of thoughts.

Good call on the cell phone tag from the original site, shellshock. Made me wonder if there were any more things that might fit in to what we recently discovered, but except for the orange sky one (here are some pics: http://www.smeter.net/aurora/1-21-05-jim-henderson.php) nothing looks familiar.
