Dr. Rodsild aka ??? THEY CALL ME PASTABAGEL
Okay, I've checked all the wiki sites and the collective detective archive, and I haven't seen what I'm about to post. Therefore, if it's already been said before, the redundancy is Your Fault, not Mine.
Ok, so all of the idiots pictured here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/files/426_1064786863.pdf turn out to be real scientists with those real names and pictures shown. Except for Turgenev, and that avenue has been run down so much that crews are trying to fix the potholes.
However, there's another guy on that page that bears closer examination. Pekka Pyykko is a real scientist at the university of Helsinki, but he doesn't look like that.

Notably, he's bald. Do we know who this is?

Well, he's no Jean Luc Picard. Addlepated, can you find anything through google images?

Google Images? LOL! What would you google for, bald scientists? Do you have any idea how many billions of images it's going to return? I think its only slightly fewer than a search for "HOTXXXTEENBARELYLEGAL" would return. Not that I know anything about that. I don't. Seriously. What? Why are you looking at me like that?
Actually, I think it may be a famous psychologist, but I can't figure out who.

Norwegian theme? After spotting that reggie's old bd login 'blekhest' means pale horse in Norwegian, I have just twigged that that 'rodsild' basically translates as 'red herring' in Norwegian
http://dictionaries.travlang.com/EnglishNorwegian/
rod = red
sild = herring ...

Red Herrings - Possible translations A "Red Herring" in many terms is known as something that looks tempting, and if you go chasing it, it does nothing for you. We used to call nonresolutional topics in a debate "Red Herringb," because you want to address the arguement, but it doesn't really mean anything, because it is off the topic.

Hahaha! Oh man, these guys know us all too well. (To whoever was looking for steg in those images on Jake's blog, might I suggest 'red herring' as a possible passphrase? )

Done it with a dictonary and haven't found anything. I haven't checked it now, but I'm sure this word was also in the dictionary.
