 		Eric Hachlinski now has an avatar on gmail (or googletalk, whatever).
It is a snowflake on a black background.

Nevar = Snow in spanish, apparently.
How do we go from here?

 		Nevar is also the name of an evolutionary art generator: http://eden.dei.uc.pt/~machado/NEvAr/Site.htm

But it's hard to say if it's a reference to that.

Random Observations for now:

1. No-one's pointed out yet (afaics, might be wrong) that the number string "42 1 18 76" contains those two numbers again - 1, 18. (Also, I make them "PARX" in mod 26, not QARY?)

2. I tried running the black & white grid gif through Conway's Game of Life, but nothing came out.

3. There seems to be a lot of reflection going on, with raven-nevar, janus, and the rotation of the black & white grid. (Spurious spec: if you rotate 6op one letter at a time, it looks like "God" - have faith?)

 		I have to say I'm heartily confused, all that Latin stuff has nothing to do with this 6op 1 Libra, why doesn't this Eric fella just so if it hasn't. I'm sure SpaceBass knows whats up but still.

 		The 47th chromosome in a human is quite rare, and often causes unwanted diseases.

We have the existing links to genetics, we should look closely at that and try and link the two.


All snowflakes are unique, is what I think the quote is getting at. Snow seems to be playing a large part, Nevar and the noted snowflake for an avatar all link as well.

Could these two be linked, unique genetic code?

Eric: they sent me to an island - then on a boat to anotner island. I assume the coordinates although I had no instructions. I met people but no one that stood out - I was there for no reason it seems. nice trip though. no communications at all.

Eric: There was a bird on the island that followed everywhere - that was freaky. It stayed at the villa where I was all the time.
me: What type of bird was it? ...a Raven?
Eric: No - it was small - and brown and white - I'm not good with birds - but not in the raven family.

 		Don't suppose those co-ordinates we have correspond to those star signs when applied cosmically do they? No idea how to check that. (Edit: Nope ;)

Add: 6op1libra.com now has this image instead of the grid. Odd orange splotch at the bottom-left.

p.s. also note another ref to 1:18. Definitely where we need to be looking.

The first line seems apt for an arg. The mention of snow - coincidence?

10.10 is nothing special, AFAICS:

Also, according to wikipedia, the words of Alexander of Aphrodisias were also found within the Archimedes Palimpsest in April. Another AA?

(Edit:) AArg! Another one! Just noticed that the "Nevar" site I linked to before says: "The ultimate goal of the project is to build an Artificial Artist". I'm guessing the hint "art imitates life" is a reference to this.

ALSO, just realised that if you take the first letters of the hint, you get ACUG (and a 6) - I'm pretty sure these are the bases for either DNA or RNA or something (one is ACTG, one is ACUG?) (Addendum: It's RNA, see wikipedia.)

 		Scribe my friend, we are not dealing with AAs in this ARG.
Eric assures me they are entirely separate and AA is trying to mislead us from the truth.
