argh! i wish it were in order in the slideshow!

Yeah, Flikr went and fucked everything up, so it's not in order.

If you make a set, it will let you arrange them in order by several factors or you can change the order by hand.

Also, feel free to join and add these to the ARG Pool

Server 5 video re-edit

Some people said they couldn't view the youtube version of this I posted, so here it is on Revver:

http://one.revver.com/watch/308432

I re-edited the video so it would be easier to see all the stuff that normally flies by. Also I dropped the text since everyone's pretty much seen all that already. You can also download a version of it at this link, so you can scan through any parts frame-by-frame.

I used the .wmv re-encode that Drew uploaded to cut this, so thanks Drew! (that was my best friend's name when I was 12! No one cares!)

This is my final entry, and I am left with one hope,
That one day, someone, anyone is around to witness this warning.
If you are that witness, and it seems that we pinned all of our hopes
On this single, suicidal plan
Know that a thousand other plans were tried and failed.
Millions of brave and honorable souls
Died trying to avert this desperate, terrible solution.
Know that energetic and tenacious as life is
It has an antithesis just as powerful.
It is that thing that we must obliterate

So what's going on here? This looks like a side shot of a person with their arm at their side, wearing a white skirt to me, don't know if you see it. Also, part of the poor quality footage that looks to be from a camcorder of some sort is shown twice in this video, the section that looks like a large explosion. As for the other parts, half the time it looks like plains with clouds on the horizon and some "thing" in the middle (See: http://picasaweb.google.com/darkforce898/AllHaloSSS/photo#50785613434139

battle/explosion.

Drew, not to steal your thunder or anything, but I thought that there was a lot of frames missing from yours... so I did it myself with every distinct frame... you should still get credit for thinking of it though

What? I didn't grab EVERY frame, only the interesting and different ones. The single-frame stuff, etc. I got all of the oddballs, trust me.

Actually, and I too don't mean to be a jerk here, but you missed a LOT of the "interesting" stuff... like the 1-frame text slides, for example. Still, though, it was a very good start - thanks for providing it!

DarkForce898's album seems a bit of overkill, yours a bit of underkill - put 'em together and you've got... a kill? Smile

the bacteria in the two images on the first page resembles the Marburg Virus, which is accociated with tunnels in Mount Elgon. Mount Elgon is what was found when you plugged in the coordinates that made up the halted countdown. my theory is this: the forerunners picked up this disease while in Africa. It killed their race and mutated into what we now know as the Flood. i could be dead wrong, but i wasn't sure where else to put this. please don't hurt me. Sad

To correct this: It wasn't the Marburg virus that was found in the caves of Mt. Elgon, more specifically, the Kitum Caves, but rather the Ebola Virus.

The Kitum Caves themselves are believed to be the origin point of Ebola, something I made note of a couple days ago on args.bungie.org, and even went so far as to compare the similarities of the Ebola Virus and The Flood, but since the co-ordinates in South Africa weren't right on Mt. Elgon, it was dismissed as irrelevant. /shrugs
