Crop Circles

I don't think I can play this game anymore.

I woke up this morning and got the newspaper. On the front page:

Crop circle puzzles...

*WARNING* The stupid newspaper website requires you to register.

I just wish it was somehow related Smile[/url]

SOTA sees the glyph on the Transmission Log
SOTA's website, contains a link to the Transmission Log and states that the glyph shows up on the site. Although when one reaches the site the glyph is no where to be found. One theory suggests that SOTA is being fed a different version of the website by whoever runs the Transmission Log.

Hey, I just discovered this (haven't really been in the scene since ILB wrapped up) and I don't know if this has been suggested yet, but has anyone considered spoofing access from the SOTA server to the countdown page? I dunno if that's possible without doing something blatantly illegal but it's a thought.

Now that the "Alien Server" is clearly visible, and the glyph is, as well (Although these came at two separate times :/), I'd like to propose that the "Server 05" page we're seeing now is the "different version of the Transmission Log" Sota was being fed. As such, I'd also like to propose a new theory: SOTA members apparently get to see the next step in the ARG before the rest of us.

It is a good theory, the only question is when will SOTA have their recruitment drive? Are they still bouncing back messages sent to the grok address?

Recruitment Drive

I'd be tempted to say the First of July or the Fifth of July (as referenced by the file title : slide070107 and the reference number in the file #070507) But I don't want to think about them making us wait that long.

I sent a message to that address tonight and it went through for me I think... how long does it usually take to bounce?

Bounce Time

Mine bounce instantly, and still are.
