I was that last post the guest. I spent 5hours editing this, and i thought i would upload my progress so far.

I was Able to Isolate the deep voice on the track, but the background music is still there But Its Quiet. Its Also Reversed, ill spend more time working on this later in the day.Im thinking that if we slowed it down we could hear it better. As its 5:30am here and i havent slept lol.

Awesome work Ry, I was working on it myself in Audacity but having a hard time isolating the different frequencies. Now all we have to do is figure out how to get rid of the background music...

Snooper, im thinking that the deep voice might be a female voice thats been pitched lower. I have a feeling that the deep voice & music are one track, while the higher pitched one was on a different one i think.

Im using Adobe Audition 2.

Im sure we attack this as a team we will have figured it out.

I also do some sound editing, but my current (freeware) program doesn't have a karaoke filter. I was previously working on a way to "fix" the backwards parts of KH2's theme song without messing with the music. If you copy the clip, run a karaoke filter on it, invert it, then remix them back, you get an isolated voice track.

When I get home, I'll see if I can play with this. Just beware of the backwards masking lure. You can make anything sound like anything else if you fiddle with it enough. Also, none of the other clues so far has anything hidden in it, so I don't think we should get our hopes up. I'm actually hoping that the people running this game see that we are needing some deeper play and start hiding more clues. The timer pointing to the cradle of life was cool. Now what they need is a blank page with a text entry, and we all have to guess and try different things to get in.

Perhaps in another 10 hours, I'll be able to register to these boards.

Lot's of good work being done here. You guys got skills. But I don't hear anything but the garbled squawk of backward speech. In the past, when Bungie has hidden audio tracks, they've been very clear. No doubt what was being said (for the most part). This is too muddled to be anything substantial, I think. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

i thought it was just backwards talk to start but with a few listens it comes... i probably just really want it to be there
but still the word spaceship really does stand out!!!
