ok hmm. our main goal (or the one I can see most) is to get this expense form filled out but it looks like we are still far away with 8 lines blank yet aren't we being told we are really close?

ok, let me toss out a few guesses then for the expense report:

7. G

9. W

(based on the earlier findings of the seventynine pic being both G and W)

2. A

8. ?

(based on the similar theory used with seventynine, this time with twentyeight - alpha = A, but I don't know what the second letter is - most likely something to do with the picture on the second layer)

5. V or L or Y

(V because of the roman numeral he uses for an avatar or L because every reference of EL Cinco capitalizes the word "EL" or Y because there was also the "Y = spanish" reference, although Y would be my past choice)

10. P

(this is a stretch - they like to make 10 Razz faces, which is made with a : and a P - I'm reaching a bit with that one Razz)

other letters that might go somewhere: U, C (AA1 kept saying things like "Do U C?")

that's all I got for now.

so this would give us something like this:

1. C
2. A
4.
5. V, L, Y
6. M
7. G
8.
9. W
10. P

and toss in a U and C in there somewhere. I suppose it doesn't necessarily have to spell anything. it could be an anagram, after all.

btw, lots of edits in this post.

last ETA: removed item 3. per tipsila's correction. Smile

Just a reminder - there is no number 3 on the expenses list.

I'm not sure that we can safely say the seventynine image shows us G and W. I was just adjusting contrast and color, and it may be that it is just an artifact - not something meant to be an answer.

I do think that it may be as straightforward as Rogi Ocnorb pointed out, especially after finding the Louis Braille image.

The /el2... etc was an anagram of 2nd rule. What was the second rule?

alrighty, per convo with AA3, we're looking for el2rdun.txt. obviously, it doesn't follow /lists, but perhaps somewhere else? "the 2ndrule" is something we're looking for. if not el2rdun.txt, then 2ndrule.txt.

So, we only needed two rules and we could then complete the entire form?
Augustine says:
The 2 rules will make it clear how to complete the form.
Me:
okay, thanks
Augustine says:
Your welcome y good luck!
Augustine says:
"you're"
Augustine says:

Aw.
Scorpio... says:
(K) Mwaaah!
Augustine says:
Thanks, but anything else?
You found the 2nd rule.
Scorpio... says:
I did
Augustine says:
Then you are clear?
Scorpio... says:
1. C
2. A
4. F
5. V
6. M
7. G
8. P
9. W
10. P
Am I even close?
Augustine says:
As close as close can be, on some.
Scorpio... says:
Haha
Augustine says:
Where is 11?
Scorpio... says:
Ah, yeah.
11. J?
Augustine says:
Sorry.
I didn't recall us deploying that many keys...
Scorpio... says:
I'm ambitious
Augustine says:
Be less.
Scorpio... says:
You only deployed 7 keys, right?
Augustine says:
See the 2nd rule.
Scorpio... says:
si si
Does that mean to omit 4, 8 and 11?
Augustine says:
Every blank must be filled on the form.
Scorpio... says:
but... you didn't deploy that many keys?
Augustine says:
No, I didn't.
Scorpio... says:
I see
Augustine says:
Ok. Good luck.

Okay guys, i've been talking to Augustine and i think we need to come together and post all of our findings. We see what the second rule is. If we figure out what letters we go from each clue, we will be able to fill out and complete our expense forms. We were only given 7 keys

1 (one letter) = C
(this was given to us when we first began, ie the constant speed of light is c)

twentyeight (presumably 2 letters; 2 and 8 )

411 (presumably 2 letters; 4 and 11)

5 (one letter)

6 (one letter) = M

seventynine (presumably 2 letters; 7 and 9)

10 (one letter)

If we can find out what letters we get from each clue, and please explain your reasoning for them, we can all complete our expense forms. BTW, i think it's best if you choose one clue to work with at a time. If I forgot anything, please feel free to post. Thanks

Been out all day.
Am I to understand that the reference to
Code:
1, twentyeight, 411, 5, 6, sevenynine, 10

means that if we put all the letters in order (Let's say A-K)
Their Expense report order would be
Code:
1, 2, 8, 4, 11, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10

or
Code:
A, B, H, D, K, E, F, G, I, J
?

That's how I see 2nd rule working.
Too bad we still don't have a full alphabet.

Edit: Maybe just add 2 to each:
Code:
C, D, J, F, M, G, H, I, K, L

well, I gave my best reasoning so far. I still don't know where mason got a couple of his numbers, though.

EAT: remember, it's "sevenynine", minus the t.
