numbers

click on the glasses on the right and try to see if they have files hidden in them. use the player's guide on this site to find out how. also try page source to try to get deeper like tradecraftjournal.com. also, the numbers beside the glasses might be important

 KMQ Awnings

The image of the awning on the site is as shown: http://www.kmqimports.com/images/Building_crop.jpg

"Sunglasses - Lentes KMQ Carteras - Handbags

On Google Street View, it is opposite, with some things changed:

"Handbags - Bolsas KMQ Sunglasses - Lentes"

Bolsas = Spanish for bags

Lentes = Spanish for lenses

Maybe this has to do with an acronym thing. I've already tried searching for HBSL. The biggest difference between the two awnings is the reverse order and the replacement of the word "bolsas" with "carteras" (Carteras = "handbags"). Maybe the fact that carteras is closer to the word handbags than bolsas is is a clue in itself.

Or maybe we just need someone to be in Miami and look at this thing in person.

[EDIT]: There's a number on the site to contact the store. Could anyone call the number and ask them what it says on their awning facing the park? It may sound silly to the people answering the phone, but this might be easier than actually physically going to Miami. I'd call but I am in a lecture right now. Razz

I called the number and it led to the store in Miami, but the store clerk wasn't that helpful. She said the awning just said their address, "2191 NorthWest/20th St. I asked her what the awning that said "Sunglasses, etc." said and she just said "KMQ Imports."

:\ Not much help there.

South by Southwest

I went to the South by Southwest website, and they didn't even show a schedule for 2006. I didn't search too deep, though, so I might have just missed it.

Edit: Now that I looked again, I was at the SXSW wikipedia page. I never actually went on the SXSW website. So, scratch everything I said above.

Not to get off topic
but Just in case

Hi. New. Been lurking on this one so far, but I figured I may as well ask, did anyone check out the ospreynet web page mentioned awhile back? I checked it out and it looks OOG but it does do work with BBC which could be a london connexion. Sry if I'm beating a dead horse. And on an unrelated note, googling OSPREY DoD gives you a Boulder, CO Ag project that somehow involves the DoD. Odd.
