I had the right answer too but...

I too answered Grant Tenbrook and 8 North Cherry Street, however since there was 6,000 plus winner the emails might be slow getting to everyone. Dunno

Winners

I got this in my email today "Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping find my husband. You successfully solved the 8 Day Mystery and will receive your share of the $25,000 reward. If it weren't for the dedication, smarts and persistence of people like you, Grant would still be walking around a free man and I wouldn't have my husband home safely.

I was really surprised - and touched - by the amount of interest in my husband's disappearance and by all the support I received. Over 30,000 people tried to help me and my son Max and 6,013 actually solved the mystery all the way through. I am working on sending out the reward money.

I hope you got something out of it, too - beyond just receiving a reward. And don't go too far. I have a sneaking suspicion that things are still not right, what with Sonia's disappearance and all, and next time things could get a lot more complicated.

Thanks again,
Christina " I think thats about $4.15 per person.

I wonder if just putting cherry street was enough? They mentioned in their rules that they wanted a full address.

Dont' be too upset, it was fun wasn't it????

Still Nothing

I put down the full "8 North Cherry Street" and "Grant Tenbrook" and still no email. I just wonder if maybe I had a typo.

Uhm, folks. The text of the winning email has been posted about 10 times now between this thread and the trailhead thread. I think just a simple "I got the email" post is appropriate.

As for those who didn't get it yet - check email spam filters. It was sent out in bulk format that triggers most blockers (especially for work emails) for spam.

But did you answer all the questions correctly?

Remember everyone - you had to answer all of the questions correctly, so if you didn't get an email it may be due to not correctly answering another question other than the final one. Rolling Eyes

Re: Affidavit
Potential winners MAY be required....

Cass wrote:
The key word for the affidavit is "may". I suspect that they had no idea there would be so many winners. Had there been 5 or 10 people sharing the $25,000, they probably would have gone through that process, but with 6,013, each getting $4.15, it would be kinda silly. So it looks like they will just be mailing out the checks. HOWEVER, that said, I have a feeling that they are going to make the Find Sonia game MUCH tougher, aiming for a LOT fewer winners. Then I bet they use the affidavits. LOL

Well...if they do the affadavit thing, the # of qualified winners would be much lower....resulting in higher winnings.

Some people won't qualify, some people just won't bother!
