But nothing before July 2002 on Usenet.

I did find another site with information from 2000 and 2001 (arrived November-ish 2000, left by March-ish 2001)
where he posted under the nic TimeTravel_0. Interestingly, the nic is not registered at that site until October 22, 2003.

 		It might be in game, but I am sure that I have seen this site before. I was linked to it off of slashdot, actualy. I'm not sure if this is the same URL, so it may just be a rip of the site that I really did visit.

The John Titor story is a real rumor going around the internet. There are probably a lot of people who would go by that pseudonym just because of the mystery surrounding it.
