I'm not suggesting that this means anything, but I do find it interesting...

Regular playing cards can be read in the same way Tarot cards can be read, by matching up the suits (diamonds become pentacles, clubs become wands, etc.).

If you put these cards in numerical order, the story they begin to tell is interesting:

Ace of Clubs: A new journey, new beginning
3 of Clubs: Help/assistance from others
3 of Diamonds: using creative thinking to solve a problem
4 of Clubs: Establishing personal values, deciding what's important
7 of Clubs: competition or a battle against adversaries, a struggle

Having 2 '3's can indicate having to make a choice, often between two equally desireable (or undesireable) situations.

The "1" cards would be Aces, would they not?

Also, could these possibly have relevence to the tarot suites? (swords, wands, cups, pentacles - there's a correspondence between these and the heart/diamond/club/spade suites, but I'd have to look up the particulars...) Probably not relevant, but it's info to keep in mind.
