Yeah I tried a few things as well, no luck though.
It just seems strange and out of place, there's some very odd things about that website.

Seems to be a date; should be read as 06/05/07 (5th June 2007). Possibly the date the image was created/uploaded.

Javascript Probably been discussed before but has anyone looked at the Javascript for that site?
http://www.societyoftheancients.com/js/webtrends.js
Seems to be very complex for either just tracking or pop up advertising.

Looks like a bunch of browser detecting and cookie setting to me. Much more advanced than the actual site design, but not completely out of place when you keep in mind an actual web developer made the site. Of course, I'm not the most well-versed in JS so I could be missing a lot, but at first glance it doesn't look like anything.

Yeah, it's just tracking. From El Wiki:
"WebTrends is a Web Analytics tool to collect and present information about a users behaviour on a website, extranet, intranet, of whatever kind of web-solution resulting in page reloads and action through a browser."

Okay, so I took computer science III this year, and from my limited knowledge, it looks like it does something with the date to record things and then has three different else/if statements which can be most anything from simply recording data to giving other possible java orders.
Maybe someone really experienced with java should take a good look? See if its more than just recording cookies and dates?
Just a thought, but I don't know if it's really such a innocent java...

That's just setting cookie expiration, I believe. The adj variable is just allowing for different time zones by adding needed minutes and hours (respectively). If you treat the dExp variable as the expiration date, it's just telling the computer to keep the cookie for 240 years. A bit excessive, but doubt it's in-game.

Site Expiration. I'm not sure exactly what this means, but the sign-in page seems to expire Tuesday, July 3, 2:51:30 PM. Which is tomorrow. Can anyone explain that? (right click, view page info.)

Good find -- I asked someone about that a little bit ago, and it's not when the webpage expires. Someone answered me that it is actually just a setting for how long the website should stay in your cache or something to that effect.
So, it's nothing.
