[UPDATE] New Glyph (7/4/07)

http://args.bungie.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=625

From a table top thing for Gamestop/EB Games I guess.

Wonder what it means?

Edited to add [UPDATE] tag ~rose

The original was closed too.

However, this one is missing the circle in the center.

Given that we have had subtle variations on this glyph who could say for sure. If this is real then I'd say that all the other variations (those with the circles) are indicators or pointers on a map and this is the vanilla version of it. Or, as has been speculated before, it is a clock of sorts and we are seeing a countdown.

Is there a way to post the two of them for comparison purposes? I have a terrible visual-spatial memory and they don't look that much different to me.

Thanks. Smile

It's pointing us to whatever is contained in the counter-top display... right. God I'm dumb when I don't sleep. Anyone know what that thing is supposed to hold?

As I said it is missing all circles and/or extended lines which makes me believe the circles and lines are meant to indicate/represent something.

How many variations of this glyph do we currently have ?

Was it verified that it was game stop\eb games? the original poster did not name the game shop in his post(unless those names were changed by moderators). at the args.bungie.org and on the CI forums someone posted about going to their local gamestop/ebgames shop and them not knowing anything about the display.

I Just want to verify that it is Gamestop/ebgames before I inquire with my local store.

Edit: I must be tired from all the food and fun at the fourth, the OP Bolded Game and Stop in his post. I'll pay my local store a visit and see if I can find out if they have a similar display already or one on the way. If they do I'll get Pictures and pickup any possible pamphlets.

has anyone noticed the glyph that is in the upper right and upper left of the server 05 open screen, when the thing is spinning around? it doesn't really lead to anything but it there or so it looks like it.

EDIT: where was the new glyph found, at a gamestop?
