I just noticed that if you click on Ambergris' photo on the "research" page, you get a .wav file titled "Sometimes". It's a clip of a man saying "Sometimes things are not as they ap-" then he stops. Perhaps something's hidden? I don't have the right stuff to check it out, though.

Yeah, I think we should get someone to ThrillerFest. It seems to me that we got a jump on this ARG... like, big time, and they're scrambling, putting in meta messages like that one. Maybe Christopher Forrest wants to meet some of the players, or something.

I dunno how much of this we should count as in-game, because the press release spoke of getting ARGers from all around the world (they actually list countries, which I thought was interesting) involved, and everything they've done so far seems like just stuff for uF.

So... I'll keep watching, and puzzling stuff out, but I think we may want to contact the author or maybe the publicist and ask what's up. Unless we want to keep that whole TINAG thing going.

That square is the one that 'works'. I assume it is a nudge toward what we are supposed to do with the other magic square. I have proposed theories and solutions for it to the Dr but he is not replying....nobody is replying, they don't seem to want to communicate much.

yeah, like I said, we're probably going through this much faster than they intended us to... if I had to hazard a guess, that original post from "Quiz" was never supposed to make it here. Either it was put up by a disgruntled employee, which I've heard of happening before, or someone found the press release for the book describing the ARG and decided to give us a head start.

Our communications with the DR. have been them trying to keep our interest up, but they probably want to hold off until August, like they originally intended, closer to the time the book is released.

So, I'm at a crossroads. Do I stop following and wait until the intended release date, and risk missing out on 25+ pages of threads, or do I keep a close eye, put the pressure on the PMs, and possibly have the whole thing unravel?
