I'm going to go out on a limb and say that, since everything in the box was SOTA related, the code will be used to become an SOTA member (and access the nonexistent forums) once everybody receives their package.

personally I don't think it has anything to do with LIVE, it'd only enable a video download and knowing that this is trying to reach as many people as possible I don't see them releasing a video on a 'locked' down system. The codes are more likely to do with the next server.

and by the way, how does going to an alien server type device give SOTA your snail mail address for the purpose of sending promotional material and "rally" gear?

does any part of this ARG make sense?

I'm so jealous and very determined to be one of the guys to unlock one of the other servers. Do you think people who got in on the first one should hold up on unlocking the next server? Will the packages be the same or different? Hrm.. at least things are getting exciting!

Yeesh! I really hope this gets everyone else (keypeople) more deeply involved soon. First, I miss out on the keys, then this happens weeks before I'm set to get an Xbox.

If nothing becomes of this, at least there's still Saturday...
