It's the one, the only, FIRST HEMISEMIDEMIANNUAL ACHERON HAIKU CONTEST WINNERS! APPLAUSE!

First, I must say, I was utterly amazed at the outpouring of quality haiku posted, something which everyone should be proud of. This may be the game we love to hate, but apparently we love to write silly haiku about it more. Seriously, you guys rock.

But enough touchy-feely, everyone-is-a-winner nonsense! Let's get to the big big winners!

After a gruelling selection process, which cost me untold hours of sleep and at least one full GPA point, I have selected six winners: three third place, two second place, and one GRAND PRIZE WINNTER. Without further ado:

Third place (Have-Some-Cheese-With-Your-Whine Category): addlepated!

 		Having to drop out from the game
I am back from a real world mission, but I am not home yet. I have to wait here in Iraq for 6 more weeks. In that time they are sending our equipment home (computers included). I will have the opportuntiy to use another units computer for 10 minutes a day to email loved ones and stuff, I am sure I will check in from time to time. My wife and I are putting an ARG together right now. She is amazing at webdesign and we are trying to make and easier puzzle, more interactive version of an ARG that should last 4-5 months and start in July. Pregame should start in mid-April. Being here in Iraq has given me a lot of time to think up a great story, and I hope everyone will be so kind as to play. The equipment and the person I hired (network guy) has already cost me $4800 to get most of the stuff set up. I am not looking for any return on the investment, I am just doing this for fun and as a big thanks to all the people back home that supported me out here. So be on the look out for AWARE.

3rd places - NRU bumper sticker (NRU physicists do it with a collider) or NRU mug - a child's t-shirt can be substituted. Does Addle get two?
