MY ARG I am back from a real world mission, but I am not home yet. I have to wait here in Iraq for 6 more weeks. In that time they are sending our equipment home (computers included). I will have the opportuntiy to use another units computer for 10 minutes a day to email loved ones and stuff, I am sure I will check in from time to time. My wife and I are putting an ARG together right now. She is amazing at webdesign and we are trying to make and easier puzzle, more interactive version of an ARG that should last 4-5 months and start in July. Pregame should start in mid-April. Being here in Iraq has given me a lot of time to think up a great story, and I hope everyone will be so kind as to play. The equipment and the person I hired (network guy) has already cost me $4800 to get most of the stuff set up. I am not looking for any return on the investment, I am just doing this for fun and as a big thanks to all the people back home that supported me out here. So be on the look out for AWARE.

Yeppers!! Thanks for the early support. Check back here for the link regularly to the first site. We will be taking signups as soon as the first few websites are done. We are sparing no expense with this, and we are trying to make a very quality site that rival other independant games out there. My goal is to make this the quality of design of CTW or better (a lot to live up to).
My wife will also be posting here for me on my behalf over the next few weeks to keep everyone will informed.
Unfortunately since we both work full-time and have only one other part-time employee working this we will be doing most things with automation, so it may lose a little personal touch, but I am working hard at making very smart bots and very intelligent automated emails.
If anyone think they may be of service in either promoting or helping this game be a success please let me know. The only thing is, if you want and can help I won't let you play the game for obvious reasons. But most of this is already well under control.

Thanks for all the offers Wow!!! When I thought I would put the fact that I had a game in progress I had no idea I would have about 10 private messages and almost 35 emails when I checked in this morning.
I have so many people ready to help I am flabbergasted. For now, I am not ready just yet to assign things for people to do, except one thing. If I am not able to make it to Vancouver I will need someone to help there to promote on my behalf. I haven't figured out how I am going to do that yet, but I am fortunate that some of the game is set in Amboy, Washington. I might start this one off with a real-world encounter.
My wife hired 2 actors and we are going to do the filming for some of the game when I return to Germany.
Things to expect:
1. Game will not incorperate supernatural.
2. Game will have phone, fax, IM, chatroom, email, web-cam, and possibly real-world encounter. And alot of it. If you aren't chatting or IMing, or on the phone at least 3 times a week, you are behind the curve of the game.
3. Three kinds of puzzles...a. The kind where you try to figure out a code or diagram and the meaning hidden behind it. b. Puzzles which require common sense and the ability to be inovative and investigative c. Puzzles that have misled you down the wrong path. You will be figuring out which puzzle to trust and which ones are sabatoge (streetsmart testing). The many characters written in the game might have some players doing things that other characters object to and those characters might not want to have anything to do with you afterwards.

Technical help Does anyone know how I can get a phone number in the US that no address houses to relay to my phone in Germany? I live in Germany and I will have 9 different phone numbers written into the game with various locations all around the U.S. I need to sign up for the numbers, but even more I need my phone in Germany to ring when on of those numbers are called.

Try this.
http://www.vonage.com/features_virtual_phone_number.php
You'll get eaten up by long distance charges if you go with any kind of POTS arrangement.
