 		I think what may be flying at the building is the head of the statue of liberty, and the sound is it spinning...just a thought. My reason is that it hits the empire state building, then we see the SOL head. The SOL head isn't at the top of the empire state.

I was having my doubts about it being the head of the SOL because of the size but it apprears to be made of metal (sparks and scraping).

Am I correct to say it's coming from the left and ricoceting off of the building before landing in the street?

As I said around one of the earlier pages, the head of SOL would have had to travel about 2-3 miles depending on where they are located in the trailer. I think the address listed in the whois depcits the location of the people in the trailer...

also liberty island is slightly away from ellis isalnd which is a ways of the main residential ares, but that is all speculation and not helpful

I did some more checkin on the 2nd pic from 1-18. It looks like there is a person between the person in the pink striped shirt and the girl on the right. the is a part of clothing that is striped that doesn't match anyone else. which help explain all the black in that area.

As I mentioned earlier it turns out ftp port for EHWR is open. I tried to connect but nothing i could think of (anonymous, guest, van, code from puzzles) nothing. I emailed Van making sure wasn't OOG. I got automated response and another. Funny thing is just realized it had different message.

 		My first time ever seeing/hearing about this trailer was in the movie theaters, and on the wide screen you can definitely see it's the Statue of Liberty's head, for any that are unclear.

To me, it sounded as though the humming came from the head, because it came just before it landed. Could be wrong, though.

 		1st post...joined because of this thread but will eventually get to the others.lol Watched the trailer numerous times,solved all 5 puzzles yesterday-emailed Van called the # etc. like most of the rest of you. Laughing Got the standard reply yesterday to help solve the puzzles then just got this one a few minutes ago....

What does view the source to get past the puzzles and tricks refer to?Is that the isp which leads to the tele #? My take on the movie after reading all of the near biblical, outworldy quotes and listening to the sound enhanced "Its a Lion and its huge" is that possibly its a Chimera or something very similar. In Greek Mythology, the Chimera or Chimaera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna. Descriptions vary–some say it had the body of a goat, the hindquarters of a snake or dragon and the head of a lion, though others say it had heads of both the goat and lion, with a snake for a tail. All descriptions, however, agree that it breathed fire from one or more of its heads. Ive seen variations that make it look like everything from a FooDog to Gargoyle to Griffin that breathes fire.

Ok guys, I was watching the trailer at http://www.circa1978.com/catch/ehwr/, and something caught my eye when everyone was scrambling back into the building from the rooftop after the explosion. After a few tries and a lucky pause, I found this text:



It looks like it says "2004 ACE", but context would leave me to believe it's actually 2007.

Chances are it's just something put in there by some show-offs at the special effects department, much like the "SFX" in the dust/clouds in the Lion King(which many people mistook for "sex").

But in the instance of the game coming to fruition, this could be valuable info.

Unfortunately, with a Blogger account, that does little to credit the information. You can change the date of posts, the address of your blog, your name, etc. In other words, someone could've converted their personal Blogger account to be used as a gamejack-type-thing--with the hopes that their registration date would make them appear to be IG.

With the budget behind EHWR (at least, from the website so far), I doubt they'd be using Blogspot. It's not realistic, and it's not professional.

That was only one tiny argument to why I don't think they're related. I'm having a hard time seeing how, if they ARE connected, they can be bridged. I feel exactly the same way. Everyone seems to have assumed that Ethan Haas and 1-18-08 are connected after that one mysterious post. While I'm enjoying them both, I'm still not convinced that they are connected.

And if they are connected? Then I have a feeling that we're not supposed to know about it. If there is a connection (and I'm not sure there is), I have a feeling that it's supposed to be a Synagoga/Wildfire (sp?) kind of thing. [For anyone that might not know, those were two ARGs a few years back that 'merged' at the end and turned out to be two different parts of the same overall storyline. Until that point, though, none of the players knew that the games were part of the same universe.]

Finally... I think we need to be wary of any potential gamejacks. Because of the mysterious nature of 1-18/EHWR, there is ample opportunity to gamejack. There are a lot of people who can get a lot of free site views out of this, and therefore we need to be cautious of accepting things as official. Until there is some IG link between sites, everything (especially free sites, which are easy to register) should be taken with more than a few grains of salt.

[It'd be easier to identify these sites, though, if Paramount would just register the sites under their own name. *sigh*]

The only Mezin message I heard was hours and hours ago, after which it went back to Van's original message. Was there a second one?

And what triggered this latest email? Was it in response to email to him, or did it simply email people who had emailed Van at some point?
