Also when dealing with alien infectious entities, I think a few leaps of the imagination can be made with the mechanics of all this.. Wink

hold on... there are fungal bacteria? See, now this is why I should have taken biology in high school... damn guidance counselor.

well no i did some research i believe theres no such thing as fungal bacteria but maybe this type of bacteria "filamentous bacteria" is a cause?

The Flood do create spores like a fungus. Then again, they inhabit a host then burst from that host to inhabit new carriers like a virus. Yet, the slideref shows us a bacterium that's supposedly to be the Flood. Perhaps the Flood is the apex of all disease. A disease that combines its intelligence and adapts to spread rapidly. It could be engineered that way.
