oh, and p.s. I don't know if come August we'll even consider this an ordinary Timewaster. Now that I've read the whole thread *ahem*, I'll have to agree with catherwood on this.

This topic IS about ethanhaaswasright.com and we should keep cloverfield out of it until we get some conclusive evidence, as has been already said.

Though I must say (just to get it off my chest) that Paramount DID take the "ethanhaaswasright" videos off of youtube which, frankly, is suspicious when you add the date of the trailer and sites' release dates into the equation; not to mention the apocalyptic and cryptic storylines each subject had. I mean, it does make sense that these could be linked, and if they are, that may, just may, mean we'll probably have a nice juicy ARG on our hands.

Well, I just said a whole lot of nothing and it looks like our only other task is to do the impossible: Wait a month after we finished the puzzles. Sad

If you notice, he says the Mezin have found his location. If you check the profile of the poster on www.ethanhaaswaswrong.blogspot.com (http://www.blogger.com/profile/11376833252701868775) his name is Mezin Source.

I don't know what significance that has, but I just thought it should be mentioned.

Also, "history forgot Ethan Haas" is mentioned numerous times. Has anyone checked to see if Ethan Haas is an actual historical figure, not just a character in the game?

 		Has anyone tried to translate the first puzzle? I will put the rest in spoiler, just in case.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
All of the symbols on the first puzzle match up to the alphabet introduced in the second puzzle. I tried to translate it, but the best I got was "O L D F E T H", which means around nothing to me.


Has anyone figured out what this may mean?

 		I'm new to the genre and I can't believe i've missed so many events in the past... Anyway I'm not 100% up to speed on the etiquette so i'm going to put some stuff in spoiler tags just in case...

I've recieved a couple emails... the most notable one was one that came to me unsolicited,

On the possible blog page connection there is a mention of latvia.

Also what is the connection with "DIVINUS"?

I agree the blogs need to be ignored. But which is more unlikely : these sites are related or that Paramount Pictures has two completely separate projects going at the same time that have this much in common? If you've ever worked in entertainment, you know the answer to that question.

How about providing links of proof for this? I've seen the 1-18-08 information about JJAbrams, the planned release date, and the code name of the movie. I have not seen the connection for EHWR to any specific movie/producer/director - where's the link?

Studios have many movies in production at the same time, or they are buying movies in production and will be the distributors. And yes, I grew up near enough to the business to know how it operates.

All those IPs dont belong to Paramount. To Paramount belong just cloverfieldmovie.com and 1-18-08.com, ethanhaaswasright.com belongs to some Media Temple company (its both hosting even holder of IP). So i think for now is wise to forget about their connection.

 		I would say that EHWW and EHWR are both connected to Paramount. There is enough evidence that EHWW and EHWR are connected from their references to each other, and clips from EHWR were removed from youtube at the request of Paramount.

I am not saying they are connected to 1-18-08, but the youtube pull definitely indicates that Ethan Haas has something to do with Paramount.

cause that all i got. all we can really do is wait till the 1st. multiple emails to "van" just gives the same auto response... so again we si and we wait...and all meet on the ethan haas site on the 1st? passcodes handy
