 		Just a random notice
Why this is probably a hoax or sheer brilliance.
Was studying the flash animation at ckrox.com. Noted a few things:

1) It's pretty clever. The depth of thought involved in making the "More to Come Soon" (or whatever it says) in the mirror opposite of where it's posted is pretty clever. It's obviously not physically in the room as it's clearer than any other words available.

2) The Corpse Bride resides beside a witch figurine infront of a Panasonic television.

3) An alien figure can be seen 'mounting' the top of the left-hand speaker in what appears to be a weapon-holding stance. Reminds me of the Grinch's body shape with the exception of what appears to a 3-finger left hand that's visible. The outline of this 'character' is familiar to me, I just can't remember where I've seen that concept before.

4) A Gamecube is in the entertainment center. A third-party PS2-esque controller is attached to it, lying infront of what appears to be the trashcan on the other side of the animation. Incidently, is that the top of a pizza box exposing itself there?

5) A wicker elephant with candles sits atop the television.

6) Not all the images were taken at the same time. a) Sneakers have been repositioned, most likely worn (the shoelaces appear tied in one, not in the other). Likewise, the candles on the elephant are lit in the reflection on the door's mirror. They are not lit as evidenced by the heavy shadow that conceals the alien's features. b) The guitar has been repositioned to be on both sides of the room. This indicates use or a purposeful attempt to point out the guitar as a source of forced focus.

7) Speaking of the guitar, if it has been played or futzed with, care seems to have been taken to make sure that stuffed animal (Blue's Clue dog?) is nestled once more in the same position. That's odd considering the relative disarray in the room.

Cool Kermit the frog hangs from a shirt in the back?

9) The stuffed animals and figurines suggest girl. The box of tissues right next to the computer tower would almost certainly indicate a boy/young man's room. *wink wink*

10) Lord of the Rings special edition boxes on the DVD stand (Red and Green)? Just a hunch. Can't make it out but they're the only side-by-side displaying editions of DVD sets I can think of with that textured color scheme.

Summary: Whoever this person is, I'd be highly surprised if it's in-game. Chances are it's a member of the ARG team recruited online for flash abilities who thought they'd embed their signature thinking it wouldn't be found.

My money's on a kid between 16 and 25. Single. Multi-room owner. There's no bed in the images. Maybe this is a shared area. Don't know.

 		After reading through both this and the 1-18-08 thread, the one thing that keeps jumping out is the fact that Paramount pulled the Ethan Haas videos from Youtube. At the least, it implies some sort of professional link or fiduciary interest. Also, we have Tom McLaughlin, who it turns out is in the employ of an RPG company. If I had to speculate, (I don't, but I will Very Happy ) I'd say that it's part of a cross-promotion; Ethan Haas will be the gaming version of the Slushofield movie. The Xbox with the PS2 controller would suggest that video games will be coming too. Hopefully there will be bobbleheads and plushies as well. Very Happy

 		Actually, unless I'm mistaken, the RPG in question is a board game akin to D&D.

On the site http://www.ckrox.com/angelusplace/ , if you zoom in on the eye of the first dog ( the one with his mouth closed ) you can see a guy standing next to a futuristic looking desk/control surface.

 		so... my friend has directed me to this forum cuz he got me into this site... spent 2 hours yesterday doing all five puzzles. i'll read through the entire thread, but any info i may not have gotten from the wesite would be helpful, thnx.

 		Hmm... did anyone else notice this?

After opening lock 4, watch the video, and listen for Van to say "There's no time for games. Only the truth." As soon as he says that, the video will flicker. Button smash pause (to create a very ghetto frame-by-frame effect) and the numbers 54312 will eventually appear on the screen (If you paused it at the right time... of course Wink)

 		i meant cause i had already posted it way back when before the 1/18/08 divide went down.i used it. Embarassed the 5th one really got me..it helps to write out alphabet....

 		Yeah, I actually had to cheat to finish the fifth puzzle. I deciphered everything and was like wtf? Then I found out it was a

Is that the Ethan Haas puppetmasters telling us, once and for all, that this indeed has nothing whatsoever to do with Cloverfield/1-18-08?

Not necessarily. The release date of a movie may or may not be important to their cause, even if the movie is about it.

Still, the best thing to do is probably wait until 08-01 to see what happens...
