Let's try two or more people 'hacking' it at the same time, ie both call at the same time, and attempt inputing the 131 pin that was suggested. One of the ones that does this should have a way to record it.

How close do the times have to be? Or would you do a three way call?

Good luck and keep up the good work, folks. This seems to be the first real lead there's been in weeks...

If only I had access to a phone, I'd be on there all day trying stuff, heh.

Also, just something that popped into my head... is it possible that Man 2 is Jimmy (Or whatever we decided his name was)?
It's really rather inconsequential, but just looking over the transcripts... Man 1 was answering Bill when he referenced Jimmy; so it seems possible, since we know of only these three people, that Jimmy is Man 2.

I don't know, just a random thought.

That's actually exactly what I used to record also.

Here's an MP3 of the silences amplified by about 50-60%

I remember someone mentioned that there might be something in those long silences, so someone might find this useful. I put about a 1-2 second break between each one.

heh, forgot to attach it.

Wouldn't this be considered a brute force attack, and thus a big no-no? I don't think there is a point trying to break into the voicemail.

Technically no, if we were going to try multiple pin's or something simular it might be, but this is just two people attempting to access the conferencing aspect, searching for more clues. If the try doesn't work, ya stop.

Yes, generally brute force attacks are a big "no no" in ARGs. I don't support "Hacking" of anything, unless it's been sanctioned by the PMs (which it certainly would not be). I figure it's another wait and see game for now. There's a lot of over-SPEC going on, and I think everyone should just calm down.

No! Shocked Everybody panic!! Shocked

But seriously, good work on all this. The voice recognition thing mentioned earlier needs to be tried, if we're deciding it's not brute force.
