 		PMs are busy folks. They don't sit on top of their computers waiting for an incoming email or private message so they can immediately respond. These games don't move that fast. Sometimes there will be no activity for several days or even weeks.

 		I got my e-mail back from him talking about difference engines and i got a picture entitled 10.jpg...but...there's no butterfly. Its title says jpg, but when i saved it, in this says its a gif. I'm not very technical. Any help?

not sure why it is saying it is a gif when you try and save it...what email system do you use? might be an issue with that.

if you want you can forward the email to me: lollipop00SPLATgmail.com (that is 2 zeros)


but there should be an option somewhere to download it and it should save as a jpg no problem. hard to tell why it isn't right now.

if that still doesn't work, if your email gives you a 'view' as well as download option, try that then do the right click > save and that should work.

 		Ha ha! This seems to be exactly my cup of tea, even if it's not as creepy as I'd like. Not yet, anyway. Well, I'm throwing my hat into the ring, even though I'm located in the US at the moment. I've sent Mr. A Plasm and e-mail, with what at first glance appears to be a puzzle, similar to what you might find in an ARG, in the subject line. It's really just a couple phrases that sound important, put up in an attempt to get a reply faster.


You know, there are other potential clues, aside from the butterflies. "A. Plasm" doesn't really sound like a real name. There may be hidden significance there.

 		Well, a quick google of "plasm" got me this...

Noun 1. plasm - the protoplasm of the germ cells that contains chromosomes and genes
germ plasm
living substance, protoplasm - the living substance of a cell (including cytoplasm and nucleus)
2. plasmplasm - colorless watery fluid of blood and lymph containing no cells and in which erythrocytes and leukocytes and platelets are suspended

Also, it seems that PLaSM is a programming language, as well...

As for the A... Mr. A as in a mangled pronunciation of "mystery"? It's corny, I'll admit, but... *shrug*

Not sure yet how much connection there is between MeiGeist and Plasm, but since two of the characters are involved you should definitely check out the Timehole videos. Heck, even if there is no connection those videos are too good to miss. There should also be a video of the live meeting with Pat&Dave on youtube somehwere.
