"Follow the signs to victory"

While that is certainly an allusion to solving the ARG, I have been thinking it might also be a challenge to the people that received the packages.

Perhaps they have to simply win a game of Halo 2 MP? Then maybe they'd get a voice message or a PM or something. It just sounded a little too literal and action-oriented to simply mean "follow the clues and you'll solve the puzzle".

That'd be too easy. I think theres more to the shirt. Someone should scan it.

It would be easy hence why it would be easily overlooked. It's also easy to debunk, as I'm sure some of these Halo fans must have played some Halo 2 after plugging in that code...

Unless you're pr0 like me...

To be honest, I don't see anything out-of-the-ordinary. It seems like the glyph might point to something if the wearer was to, say, stand and face a certain direction.

ok out of curiosity last week I played around with the tshirt designs, because there seemed to be a little of similarities between the front and back and the server 05 country selection background... So here are some rough comparisons, colour coded for matches.

The front/back comparison has white design as the similarity
The front/background comparison has red, green and yellow for common elements. Obviously the red being the most prominent similarity, and I'm sure there are more similarities between those two, but they already seem different enough to appear as though there's really no meaning to the patterns at all at this point. Possibly a set of shapes and designs were used to create the tshirt and background, to give that feel of organization, but as for a hidden meaning? I'm not so sure about that...

I notice that strewn throughout the image (both on the shirt and on the language screen) are the icons that you use on Server 05 to access the files.

The "This is how it all begins" on the shirt makes me think that perhaps it's a sort of..maze. Perhaps we need to click the icons in a specific order in Server 05 in order to unlock the next server?

Ony thing I can think of is it's meant to tie into the last line in the game trailer, that being "this is how the world ends".

And that it's a nice tshirt. Smile

Good work, bruce. If we're meant to follow the glyphs, then does the glyph fall over somewhere important. Like Africa?

A key?

Do the half circles represent a key? Has anyone tried over-laid the two designs or connected them using the half circle?

The circle overlaid the glyphs right? The circle similar to the image used for "loading" on the halo3. com site. Does it remind anyone of a button on the xbox? Just asking.

thebruce: I think the design is deliberate and more than just decorative. But I'm not sure what it is, or that it has any "hidden meaning" we can determine now. It is so helpful to have all these players that are familiar with the Halo world so they can help recognize stuff the rest of us might overlook. I was hoping this looked familiar to someone. I guess not, at least not conclusively.

hey

Ok as rose said it is good to have player familiar with the maps and halo world. Some of the weird technologic images on the shirts and Menu of Halo3.com look some what like something on the H2 map Elongation (remake of H1 longest)

ill look at it tomarrow and get a picture for us. or if you want i could just upload the video i will take to get the picture( with my capture card.)

I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I was staring at the Server 5 screen and noticed the animation of the various 'circuits' being traced out. Could this have anything to do with "Follow the signs to victory" or as a way to correlate the two halves of the shirt?

Hey

Hmm you might have something there, and if i am correct about Elongation and there is the same pattern or a similar one i will look for a moving or animated light like on server 05
