Hrm. This is a really good looking one, but that's quite a few pages. Can anyone sum it up, or should I shut my mouth and read the damned thread?

Saving Sturgis

I'm not convinced we were meant to save Sturgis. We don't know for sure that he wasn't already dead. None of us had contact with him directly.

I think the main point is further down the line. There's more to this...the connection with JFK and Castro, Watergate, the Mafia...something deep in the CIA that Sturgis had his hand in.

I gues we wait for NIR to contact us and we move forward from there...

ETA: I guess I missed you having contact with Sturgis.

Frank was likely a goner either way. Gives it a bit of seriousness now that someone has died Shocked

He died the day after the .crp file solve and I had contacted him and shown what we had found so far. At that time he said he was safe but was on the move again.

Anyways better play by the rules and wait for the next move. Don't want NIR dead too!

I'm sort of intrigued by the deaths. What if we were to get NIR killed, what then?

well, that little distraction worked

fwiw, i agree.. the accountant using franksturgis as a nom was meant to die. the whole i've lost my keys/have you found my keys thing was the shiney object dangled in our faces to get us to look thataway, while the story was pushed forward to a new chapter.

guess ya gotta have some redshirts in the story sometime..

These games, I think, should go down one of two paths. The digital story, or the physical task. The digital stories are meant to be creepy, suspenseful, and are largely website based. The physical tasks are more of a series of tests, crossing over to the real world quite a bit.

Of course, there's always the middle road, and nobody's going to just take one, it will always be it's own unique game, but those are two archetypes.

And yes, I like horror. But I don't appreciate screamers.

Yes screamers are bad. But now for a bit of conjecture...

What did Frank see? And what are they going to Cuba for?

Frank only said he:

...found names of conspiracies, blood funds in the accounting section, and particularly the name Frank Sturgis (hence why I adopted it as my alias.)

As for gong to Cuba I believe that came to light when someone needed to talk with TL personally for employment. He said he was going to Cuba to deal with a situation/account that he had been handling for years.
